Indeed, i what not aware it was a language filter, and in a previous post, i use this button to try to fix an issue.

For safety reason i put it in the child theme as well, did i will to copy it again next time, or child theme is compatible with this file ?

Edit : At first it dont work, but after changing for another theme and reactivating Vela Theme, it work great.

It is not as few clicks wonder as Wp-United, but it work.

Here an answer of the dev :

“Unfortunately, the settings of translated pages/posts will be sync by default configuration.

In order to prevent that sync you need to edit the WPML configuration within the file wpml-config.xml in the Vela theme. You will see the custom fields in xml format, then change the “action” attribute of the custom field (that you don’t want it to be sync) from “copy” to “translate”.

If it still doesn’t work, please try to update any settings in the menu WPML -> Translation options to force the plugin to update all settings , then try to edit your page again.

Yes, but there is no need to.

Because the seeting i screen for you is different for each page, so it will not appear in the file anyway since page are dynamic.

The problem is that the setting can be different for each page, but in a way i cant understand is synch beetween all translations of a same page.

It’s with WPML if it is what you whant, all non-dynamics things are translated with .po files also.
