I too have been looking for this answer. I thought perhaps there was a setting I could enable or change on my end but I do not see one. If the developer or anyone else is aware of what needs to be done to make sure it’s fixed let me know.
Specifically, the error I am being told is that it is not setup to allow for Threaded Comments.
