In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Edit from front endThank you. I’m not sure if this will work for the same purpose so let’s see if we’re talking about the same thing. I need a person to fill in contact details (or whatever is on the public side of Participants Database. Then the person would receive an email with his/her identifying code that the plugin generates. In the future, the person could either click on a link to that code and edit his/her file or go to a search page and enter the code then update the profile (resume) In my case, I want to use it for a resume database but I need to be sure that people cannot see another user’s record. I will then have a searchable area where employers can search candidates by characteristics but that area won’t have the contact details visible. I then need to somehow add a contact form to the record so if an employer finds a candidate of his/her choosing, he/she would contact the candidate from there.

In reply to: [Lazyest Gallery] [Plugin: Lazyest Gallery] Download folderI’m more interested in the download option. I need to be able to give my users an option to select photos for download or select all (whole album) as this will not just be a sharing site for us to view each others’ photos but also to send the photos. Is there such an option with LG like there is in NextGen?

In reply to: Sound alert nofications on posts, comments, pagesI would love to have something like this as well for an intranet site I’m building. Similar to a chat, the user would receive a beep when there is a new post and the post page would refresh.

In reply to: [Quick Chat] [Plugin: Quick Chat] Not working in custom themeI have jquery 1.7.2 and wp footer call in the footer. I am using an older version of the p2 (prologue) theme heavily modded and can’t go to a newer theme. I have the latest version of WP. I can get the chat to appear in the sidebar but with a big blank vertical space, can’t add it to a page, or rather can’t get menus to add the chat page. The chat doesn’t appear on the bottom as I have seen it do on other installations. Changing to Twenty Ten theme didn’t help.
I should clarify, the selection appears as an option when writing the post. The event lists under the event category (regular taxonomy category that I created) but it doesn’t display.
That didn’t work for me. I’m using P2 theme. I would like the events to appear as posts as well as in their normal displays.
Please let me know where and how the field to hide empty fields would go in my theme css. I’m not sure where to paste the code and if it should be exactly as shown in the example above. Thank you.
Thank you. Can you possible recommend one that will work on the front end with ACF on the back end? As for list views, I don’t wish to use it altogether and did not create any post for it. I want all posts that use the ACF templates to render the post views with the custom fields on the front end. Will this work with the two plugins and the above logic, hiding empty fields?
I cannot ask my contributers that will upload ideas and minutes periodically to add shortcodes. I need to automate this for them.

In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Notes fieldSo the text area would just be used and added to in a long strip?

In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Notes fieldI am afraid I’ll need more clarification on this. The only option I could see in the admin field was for a text area.
What I need is an area for our users to update their notes about contact with the participant which would include a time stamp and author’s name (the one that writes the note) as well as the text of the note and ideally some categories (call, meeting, follow-up, etc.).
Thank you.

In reply to: [Participants Database] [Plugin: Participants Database] Image upload errorThis has been resolved. It was a matter of a php memory limit.
Can anyone please help with the category selection and display categories for front-end posting? I need my users to be able to select a category upon posting. Same issue for tags. I need check box or drop-down menus. This will be a locked-down intranet.
Please kindly send the plugin name. I tried user photo and it says the image has loaded but it doesn’t display in the user profile of the WP CRM plugin. If it is a matter of permissions, user profile and user avatar plugins have been set to 777, directory and subdirectories and that didn’t help. I thought it may be a matter of user level and set my test contact to editor and that didn’t help either. With the user avatar plugin, I also get a 0 on upload, user photo just says it worked but doesn’t show the image.
