    So you may want to check out our video tutorials on items as well, there we often walk through various scenarios which may be helpful? we don’t really have anything that walks through every possible problem, that really is just what support is for I think and is the most efficient way to handle that… Everyone has different scenarios for their business, so we can consult you on what to do there.

    With WPEC subscriptions, sure, users can cancel their subscriptions. They can simply log into the /account area and from their account they are able to open a subscription and see the details, cancel, even update the card on file.

    We also have as setting in our settings -> accounts where you can enable a menu item in the users /account page to ‘Manage Subscriptions’ so they can easily find them… or they simply open the order. hope that helps.

    Also, if you connected and used a recurring payment, they are controlled by your payment gateway. Stripe.com is the place to check, this is because no card data is ever stored on easycart or your site, the payment gateways initiate and process recurring payments. Uninstalling easycart would not shut them off, they will need to be cancelled on stripe.com.

    So I think this is review is not the place for support. I am happy to work with you over on support as it sounds like you are able to import the database and we are offering a solution, it sounds like we need to possibly assist, which is what our support is designed to do, not our review over on wordpress.

    I understand the frustration with something not working, and am happy to help, but over on our proper support channel. I would kindly ask that we use that channel to help if you wish to proceed with support.

    I would also ask kindly this reviww be removed as it’s a little misleading as you state you can’t back anything up or move it. Obviously we have many users who have hosting backup systems working, not relying on plugins for this type of critical behavior… Happy to discuss best practices though with wordpress over on our support platform.

    We actually said you could backup and move, we migrate them all the time… but you need to just copy all files and copy the database using phpmyadmin to be sure to grab the whole database.

    Some plugin migration tools may allow you to grab the entire database, not sure, have not investigated, my guess is some tools do have that option for a point and click migration.

    I did look on your page, there should be a button there at the bottom that isn’t loading, so will need to investigate further with access on that ticket.

    Hello: You might go to the settings -> payment panel and under paypal make sure you have the correct weight units and the correct country, etc. I have seen some users with Kgs and should be Lbs or visa-versa and also make sure your paypal account is a business account all verified and setup correctly.

    Otherwise, we don’t normally do or check support here on wordpress, so visit our site and submit a ticket at https://www.wpeasycart.com/my-account for further support.

    We looked for tickets, we are all caught up and only have one day out of tickets. We respond typically within 24 hours to every ticket, happen to look into the matter if I knew more info, but looks like all tickets were responded to within 24 hours… maybe junk email folder or something. Happy to look it up if you email [email protected]. We do hope you find the perfect solution for your needs. One thing we do try to do is provide good support, nearly all our past reviews indicate that most are happy, but we understand things happen and the tools don’t meet everyone’s needs. thanks again for trying the software.

    Very sorry you had a bad experience… Yes we do usually require some admin access if we need to review settings, server setups, and help troubleshoot. You can always build an account for a technical person here to use, then remove it when finished.

    As for your other issues, we are happy to assist. Downloads from your server can be secured like you did further, or you could jump up to our Amazon S3 connection and feed downloads that way for security. Often better choice than hosting on same server.

    As for 100% of coupons, some pathways in this area are tough, as an ecommerce system, payment gateways, and other systems are not really designed to give away 100% product. Sometimes best to just offer a download button if giving something away, it makes an ecommerce system sometimes irrelevant in the equation.

    In the end, we do hate to see dissatisfied customers, especially ten thousand thumbs down ?? Maybe there is another cart that can handle all of these situations with ease at a cheaper cost, but have not see it yet…

    As per your question, we have no plans to include distance based shipping, we have UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Australia Post, Canada Post integrated to provide more accurate live based shipping needs.

    One other way around this is to offer a zone based shipping where you create and build a map your customers can see and offer static shipping to zone 1, zone 2, zone 3, and let customers choose appropriate zone, but nothing is in the works to automate a zip code, postal code, or google map based api system at this time.
