Thanks for the review and the good feedback, I do think that language editor could improve with your suggestion… hopefully that area is a one and done type of setup, tabbed and savable sections is a good idea though to keep you moving in there.

Hello, thanks for pointing that out, we used to have a free system and no costs, but our Free edition now does run through a connect services we offer and it does have 2% fees per transaction. Our Professional and Premium editions you can get on our website and those do remove those 2% easycart fees.

You will always pay processing fees with companies like paypal, stripe, square, authorize.net, etc…

Our free edition doesn’t have any monthly or yearly cost associated with it, but it does have the 2% fees for transactions it processes.

Sorry you are experiencing some difficulty… we normally don’t respond here on this area as we have our documentation, videos, and email on our website. Support for us to look at your system obviously must be in the pro or premium paid editions, but let me see if we can guide you in the right direction for free resources of help.

Option sets are highly configurable, but doing so can also add complexity to setup. We have several ways to actually create option sets. 1 is via the product edit -> option set section. The other is to build the option set in our left menu and then attach them to products.

Hello: Sorry you are unpleased with easycart, but I feel this is somewhat of an unfair review.

1. You must be on a 5 year old system that we had which was not our premium system we have today, but a standard edition software, built completely on a different system.

2. Like all software, it will eventually reach End of Life as that system did. You can still continue to use it for life, we are just not required to keep doing updates… Just like Windows 97, 2000, XP, etc.

3. We made a nice upgrade path for you to our newer systems which are the professional or premium edition, something we really didn’t have to do I guess, but only makes sense.

You can reach out to us on our website anytime with the chat icon, but I do feel that a 1 star rating here on something that is older doesn’t really provide good practical review to users on our system.

ok, sure, I wasn’t quite sure if that was what you were going for… so the products allow images to be uploaded, but the description and specifications tabs are just regular wordpress content areas with their editor, so in theory you could find a good plugin that plays audio and handles that aspect, and then probably just drop shortcode into say the ‘specifications’ tab and have it do audio previews.

You can also go to our settings -> language editor and rename the ‘specifications’ tab to something like ‘Audio Preview’ or whatever… so the tabs and phrases can all be repurposed to fit what you need… that’s the way I could see it working.

So you can sell audio, if that is what you mean? It can sell any digital download, from video, to audio, to pdf or ebooks, etc… really just zip it all together into one package.

As for updates regularly, we are typically on a 2-3 week cycle for updates….

sorry for late response, we normally don’t respond or check these forums very often, but rather our website, or chat on our website.

As for an order platform, we do have a ‘Bill Later’ or a manual payment method, and what it does is allow an order to be placed, but skips payment systems. So it goes into our order que as a ‘pending’ status and is just placed… the rest is up to you on how you collect or what you do with order data this way.

You can also use our settings -> language editor and customize the verbiage on it.

Just to clarify, the 2% fees are completely removed when you have a one year license of $69/$99 per year. This way you don’t have any ongoing fees with us, but just regular processing fees.

Our plugin here runs as a SaaS system, in partnership with these limited providers like PayPal, Stripe, Square.

And we have been building eCommerce systems for 15+ years in various systems. We do host one plugin here, but we do provide plenty of wordpress extensions and such outside of www.ads-software.com… not everyone lists plugins here, many developers build platforms and such beyond just wordpress and into other CMS systems or just sell outright their plugins but don’t list here in the repo… I believe our plugin here has been up for 4+ years or so… just FYI
