Is this issue happening on the admin phew or on the front end where the shortcode is rendered. I would suggest you uninstall and install the plugin again using the latest version. Don’t worry your slide box creations won’t be lost.

If you install it via the WordPress interface simply click install and activate, if you install via ftp download the zip and go to your wordpress die and upload it and again click activate. It’s same installation as any other plugin. Are you having any other specific issues?
