yes so as you can see , you have another
<!DOCTYPE html><html lang="en"><head>…</head><body>…</body>
within your page-content div
doesn’t look like there’s anyone from elementor to actually help. They just post to put in a support ticket if you’re pro but don’t comment to give any suggestions otherwise. Reason 1025 elementor support is lame
so the way these templates are built is elementor deals with the doctype and the head and body tags. How are you getting this html preview on the wordpress editor if you’re building the header with the header and footer theme builder? Usually it just has an elementor logo in that content area of you’ve built w elementor. I think you are nesting your code within the body tag that wordpress/elementor takes care of.
open your dev tools and take a look at the html structure
i keant screenshot so I can see the url bar and tell you the page Id

Can you screenshot the page when you’re in Edit mode, when you edit with WordPress editor not elementor?
Also are you using elementor header and footer builder ?
@princeahmed thank you I was able to connect but just realized that using with media library is a pro feature which wasn’t mentioned on the YouTube video I watched from softlabs, is there a free trial period for pro so I can see if it’s actually gonna work for my use case with elementor dynamic data and acf custom post tyoes and fields before purchasing ?

In reply to: [Elementor Website Builder - More Than Just a Page Builder] Elementor pop upyou just removed the contents of the popup but if the trigger conditions are still set , it will still popup based on the conditions but will be an empty container- this could created conflicts. Better is to go to the menu in your admin dashboard? Usually right under Elementor Free menu ; in this menu you have “Saved Templates, “Theme Builder” and “Pop Ups”. Click Popups and delete that popup template from there.
You can also edit with elementor then under the drop-down menu where you click “publish” or “update” there is an option “display conditions” where you set well the display conditions and could turn it off for your whole site. Now that the container is empty you should probably just delete the whole thing but the display conditions is how you could’ve removed it but kept the template for laterthe page id will be one of the parameters in the url when you edit the page
@conower it’s not at the page level though, it’s global site settings and I’ve confirmed it’s coming from the kit that seems to have some conflict with elementor global styles. I have disable defaults checked. But there is no way to edit the kit , can only remove ; which I tried on a staging site and it deleted all my top level pages and set it to a default portfolio wireframe kit . Then I was able to overwrite so I either have to manually set every link to inherit (custom css isn’t overriding) or rebuild the whole site on a new kit.
sigh, disabling litespeed did not work. i also noticed that in my haste to fix this, its not just the link that keeps its global color; its body text too. cannot change it so its gotta be inheriting/assigned somewhere. ive been all over the dashboard; customizer, wordpress settings, in every sub menu of elementor and elementor pro; disabled every plugin except for elementor. ive been manually setting links to inherit and it seems its being set by a kit but idk where to adjust the kit colors, ive only found one mention of the kit and the only option is to remove it.

@conower good suggestion, will try disabling my LS plugin!!
what do you mean by “the global color of the template” ? I was wondering if there was a theme default setting somewhere but I looked through the customizer and my Hello Elementor theme does not use any separate theme styles anywhere I can find.
What theme do you have that is setting global template colors? I would have that kind of breakage every time there was a new update so I disabled auto-update then I give it at least a week before I attempt to update elementor to the new version. It always always breaks my site in some way amd rolling back is such a pain, I once had a rollback break to the point where I had to contact support for help because it was stuck on the rollback version for regular and a newer version for Pro. Glad your site is in better shape now, give them a week before you update again amd always make sure you’re backed up before trying.
anything I have to update manually I do one at a time, check all my site pages in between , them update rhe next one, check etc. If something breaks and I’ve updated everything at once, I don’t know which plugin update broke everything.
@conower what did you downgrade to where it worked? I haven’t updated , there are always bugs every time it breaks my site so I give a couple weeks after release before updating. I’m still on 3.23
@368durham and when I cancel my pro subscription? What makes you so sure I have an active elementor subscription? This thread has a lot about the concept of support and no suggestions on the actual issue?
@thetechxpert I am so frustrated with elementor support , 9/10 times I don’t recieve any help, just some copy paste response that more often than not has absolutely nothing to do with the question I spent so much time to craft to include all the context, code, screenshots, links, etc. They just read the subject line then guess, usually wrong, about what the rest of the issue is. When I bring this to their attention they’ve closed the thread on me. This isn’t just one ot two bad experiences , it’s been several over the past 18 months and I don’t waste my time trying anymore.
I also dont have Facebook which is why I’m here and not wasting time on a ticket.
Just eanted to let you guys know that its not working and why. Im sure the loop grid is hard to deal with because any widget could go inside but to make it equal height, the selector needs to be a few layers down. I’ve used custom css to fix it but just wanted to put it on your radar.
