Michael, I updated 1.0.2 on my live site.. Everything works! Great job! Enjoy your holiday!

The site admin was fine. All the data was intact.
My archives were hitting the 404. The individual custom posts were 404.
But a special template (where I used a custom query to fetch certain posts) was displaying the custom posts. I have no idea why!

The permalinks were not edited by me nor were any custom rewrite rules. It was an out of the box implementation.

I checked my slugs, they were all lower case and actually auto generated.

From what I read in the forum, there was nothing that seemed to cause this because of the data that existed… but I could be wrong.

Unfortunately I do not have a developer site. I wish I could help, this is a great plug-in. But I do not have the expertise nor the platform to help you out with.

I reverted my site to the version 0.9.5. Everything is working fine now.

I reverted to 0.9.5. All is well for me as of now.

I need to do the revert too. But I have no idea how that is done without affecting my site.

Raphael, this is happening to most sites that updated. Here is the link to the previous stable version from the author https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/custom-post-type-ui.0.9.5.zip.

I am facing similar issues. Going to revert. Should I uninstall the plugin and then install the previous version?
My data is intact but front-end has gone kaput…
After looking at the forum it looks like I missed the 0.9 update. But the latest update 1.0.1 is the one that has messed up my site.

Should I have a page associated with the CPT or will having a template suffice?

It is a custom post type created by the ‘Custom Post Type UI’ plugin. It is uploading the featured image using native WP functionality. However, the featured image is getting attached to a page again.
Even if I upload an image to a regular post, it is getting uploaded to the same page.

I do not know why but it is going to exactly to page.

Can you help me out a little more? How do I find out what is the ID being sent out?
