In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Four] Submenu turns transparent in mobileOh sorry, I went on trying a bunch of different things and it somehow worked, now I’m not sure why nor how. I went digging through the style options and everywhere I saw “background”, I gave color to it; It didn’t seem to make any difference, but I remember it finally working after disabling the “overlay” option. Now it won’t come back after re-enabling it. Unfortunately I don’t have the screenshots from before.
Thanks for taking a look and offering help, I wish I had kept the steps and screenshots to contribute here.

In reply to: Frontend scrambled while editor looks okHi, @metamezzo ! I’m not an experienced developer, I’m just coming back to WP after many years but I didn’t see any notices or errors. Issues pane at chrome says “no issues detected so far”. I went back to twenty three, deactivated and later deleted all plugins, but it made no difference.
@zoonini so sorry for posting in the wrong place, obviously I should have looked for Create block theme forum, as the layout broke after using it. I guess I felt it would be more general because after deactivating and deleting the plugin and even re-installing 2023 theme through the dashboard, it didn’t come back to normal.
I haven’t made changes in the theme, but after reading a little, I understood it would be safer to use a child theme from the start (but maybe REALLY from the start). I was using create block theme to create the child theme (it was already installed because I was planning to add other fonts). The only actions I took, before trying to create the child theme, were creating this header and changing a little the typography, but still using the standard fonts.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Navigation block doesn’t work at allI’m going through an issue that might be related, at least was the closest thread that I’ve found. I’m building a new site and after working a little on Twenty twenty three, I decided to create a child theme and used the plugin Create Block Theme for this.
After that, the main header broke, but only on the browser (chrome, safari, safari on iphone). It still looks fine on the Editor. The header and navigation were created using the block editor.
Tried:
- went back to 23
- cleared site cache
- deactivated all plugins
- re-installed 23
- restarted wplocal app
- copy and pasted header
- inserted header into a group

In reply to: frontend is ok, but page looks empty on editorNo, not that… only if it was auto-converted. I was making and planing on the go, so I set the main page as a static page and inserted a query loop block.
