In reply to: [Stout Google Calendar] Upgrading Stout Google Calendar kills WPMultisite?Rock on! And thanks for the plugin, I’m not there yet in my own PHP dev so I really appreciate the efforts of those who develop and share their code. And by extension, my school community thanks you too!

In reply to: [Stout Google Calendar] Upgrading Stout Google Calendar kills WPMultisite?I did and that did the trick. Don’t you just love coding? It’s like raising kids sometimes! Really worthwhile but frustrating as H-E-double hockey sticks!

In reply to: 2010 Weaver SupportHaving an interesting issue with getting the title to overlay properly and consistently on the header image. Sometimes it appears and other times it is MIA. Clearing the “Title over Header Image” option always displays the title, but setting it seems to be touch and go. It will stay for a while but then disappears. I notice it most often in Internet Explorer.
The specific site this has been occuring on is

In reply to: External blog editor cannot access blogOk, so I am still having problems.
Checked with my host and they had me add my IP range to the mySQL authorized IP list. Done. Still no luck.
It seems to keep kicking back the authentication credentials as I am prompted for username/password and I use the same creds that allow me access directly to my blog.
The host mentioned something about class-IXR.php but I have no idea how/why that would affect remote accessibility.
Ack!

In reply to: External blog editor cannot access blogThat’s what I tried as well. It sees the blog, brings up the login screen and then promptly fails to authenticate. I even went so far as to reinstall the app. The .htaccess is the standard mod_rewrite with no additional tweaks.
I’m out of ideas at this point.

In reply to: External blog editor cannot access blogIsn’t the username in the wp-config file simply used to access the mySQL db?
Although I did try it to see if it had any effect – I received the same rejection letter.
I am wondering if it is a permissions issue with the files in that they won’t allow external access but I am not sure which file would control login access. Hmmmm…

In reply to: Some Weird HappeningThis is just a general FYI but I find that if I cut and paste from a word processor such as Word (heresy I know) that my blog posts exhibit nasty behaviors like changing font characteristics and embedding random STRONG tags.
