The same thing happened to our site. Does anyone know what has changed or if we need to update/reinstall anything?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty] Twenty Twenty – Image SizeHello jhosalazar –
I did end up going with this to fix theme not allowing us to change sizes of images when set to align right or align left. Add the css below to your ‘appearance/customize/additional css’ and let me know if it helps:
/*Img Wrap*/
.alignright, .alignleft {
min-width: 33rem !important;
}
@media screen and (max-width: 600px) {
.alignright, .alignleft {
float: none !important;
margin: auto !important;
text-align: center !important;
}
}This uses the wordpress class names and you can try adjusting the scale of image to fit your template and also set the small screen break point to align these center instead of being pushed left or right (I like 600px as above).
If you want to add your own class name, or only set this to certain images, this can be done in the editor – select the block you want a custom name for and then on the right column of editor look for ‘advanced’ under block settings (note – block setting are next to ‘page’ at top right). Under advanced you will see ‘Additional CSS class(es)’. enter you class name there and change the css above (.alignright, .alignleft) to call your class name, i.e. ‘.image-wrap’

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty] Twenty Twenty – Image SizeI have the same issues and have recently posted a question about this. No reply either.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/block-image-sizes-normal-behavior/Have you been able to resolve the issue or have you found CSS that helps?
I have added custom classes and tried styling the image, which works on desktop but then looks weird on mobile.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] GSC – Only Home Page Indexed – BreadcrumbsThank you for the clear explanation and helpful info!
1. Missing XML Line 3, Parent tag: urlset; tag: URL
I turned of the SEO for posts and that removed the post-sitemap.xml.2. Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified
I turned breadcrumbs back on, added the breadcrumb in advanced section of Homepage Yoast settings and this seems to fix the google breadcrumb validation error.I will work with google to see if they can help fix why all other pages are being excluded from my sitemaps except for the homepage? Thanks again!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg plugin breaks my Widget pagesSame here! Ugh, widgets missing and everything is going haywire with good old Gutenberg the chosen one!
Any help would be great.
I have also asked and posted topics for H1, H2, and H3 tags not following editor margins and no replies.
What support!
Thanks for your reply and help @mariatogonon!
1) I am not sure where this is or what section you are referring to, however I think I got this sorted – it was more of a Mail Poet issue I think where I cannot control the triggers or was not working on my site.
2) This was Mail Poets (MP) styling I was having trouble with and not Popup Maker’s. Got this sorted too by figuring out the integration of the 2 plugins, as 3 below. I am using the Popup Maker to generate the popup and Mail Poet form to generate/send form part only.
I personally like the styling part of the Popup Maker (ability to set and save styles) vs MP styling editor (both are good) but Popup Maker seems easier to me.
I did uncheck the box as your tip above and will see if this helps with anything else. Not sure needed now and hopefully OK to leave as your suggestion?
No plugin(s) for caching used. Only general WP settings caching set to “Normal – Level 2”.
3) I think I figured out how to use/integrate Popup Maker with Mail Poet. If helpful for others looking for this:
First a Mail Poet form is needed and it should be set to “widget” type, not slide-in or other.
Then the MP widget form provides a shortcode that can be added to the Popup Maker.This displays the MP form, submits, sends and redirects as it should inside the Popup Maker popup. I had started with a MP slide-in form and that shortcode created issues in the Popup Maker popup – which makes sense after thinking about it, however in MP settings I was trying to set the MP form to a “widget type” and thought it was changing it – I do not think possible to change type of forms in MP from “slide-in” to “widget”.
So now with widget form type all worked, but on submit the popup was re-showing immediately, so I checked the box in the Popup Maker “advanced” > “Disable automatic re-triggering of popup after non-ajax form submission.” This fixed that issue.
The only other issue I ran into was after submitting the form (MP form in Popup Maker) it would net set the cookie to stop showing the Popup Maker popup (all other Events to set cookie were working correctly). I had all of the Events set for “Form Submissions” but since it is a MP form and not Popup Maker Form it does not set the cookie.
I added the Event “On Popup Open” and that does set the cookie – popup does not keep showing. This is not ideal and better control of this would be helpful – hopefully as Popup Maker integrates the MP plugin in the future.
4) A couple other questions for Popup Maker plugin – How can I easily clear only the “pum-491” cookie from browsers so I can keep testing? I search the cookies in my browsers but do not see this one. And, is there a way to rename the cookie globally, so I can reference this in my Privacy Statement (if that is a good idea)?
Thanks again! Yes I like the Popup Maker and will leave a review.
@lmkweb – glad it helped. I have also found this can be disabled for good by deleting the 2 files inside the MU plugin folder.
@lukecavanagh – thanks. I still do not like the fact that this isn’t clear to developers. We spend hours trying to figure out what is going on even after hosting support says all caching has been turned off and the control panel shows WordPress caching is turned off?
If I want caching to increase the load speeds of my site I will add the plugin myself. Most sites do not have a problem with load speeds as they are smaller business, non-profit, mom & pop, etc. IMO. They just don’t have the user loads and do not create the server load as large sites do.
Maybe this will help others the Endurance-Page-Caching problem…
Working on a site Hosted from FatCow.com who uses their vDeck hosting platform. I kept getting old pages served with outdated code and images.
To solve:
I both called FatCow and asked them to turn off this caching (the control panel also has a caching settings page which does not turn this off) and they said their change would take a couple hours to work??.But the real solution which I believe helped was renaming the endurance-page-caching folder – I added “_old” to the folder name and hours and days of frustration were relieved when I saw the correct pages and correct images load FINALLY!
After testing a few changes, the problem so far is that the server has created a new folder for endurance-page-cache and changes are not showing up – hopefully after a few hours this will stop.
This endurance-web-page thing is not a plugin users can remove from WP control panel, that I can see, and it is something the hosting companies are adding to reduce server loads.
It should be removed from all hosting companies since it is causing such frustration for developers. Please get rid of junk that causes problems!
Hi Socialdude – I think this might have something to do with the Question #6 – New Window.
When I select “No” IE does not generate a blank tab/window.
For the other plugin you sent it says it is the same as I already have installed? Sorry but I am confused abut that. What is the difference between these 2? I have v2.4.6 installed and clicking the view-details takes me to your same plugin page.
Version 2.4.6 | By UltimatelySocial | View details
I will give that plugin a try. I notice the same for the twitter icon using IE – when clicked it opens blank page with javascript:void(0);
For the code and placing in a template the styling is always off-centered, pushed to the left but not all the way. Even when placing this in the footer using the widget.
I can try asking them or using another plugin.
Thanks again!
I only had the last 2 facebook check-boxes selected only, LIKE and SHARE.
I had “https://” in the VISIT – I removed it so it is blank and now works (no action when icon clicked) in Chrome but new version of IE gives me a blank page with: javascript:void(0);
Also – are there articles/forum-posts on aligning the div of <?php echo DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_PLUS(); ?> – so the container is centered on the bottom of the page?
Thanks for all your help!

In reply to: [Ignite] How did I break the Mobile Menu Button?Hey Ben, I did try to deactivate the only active plugin before I started this post because I saw that suggested on another post – no luck doing that.
However, I think I was able to debug the problem. It was a child footer.php code issue. I deleted the file and put the footer code into the admin/dashboard/footer section and all seems to be working.
I noticed the Facebook logo is back too. I was going to ask about that next!
Thanks for your help and suggestions – it is very much appreciated.

In reply to: [Ignite] How did I break the Mobile Menu Button?Hi Ben,
Sorry – forgot the URL.
https://www.rockandrollpizza.com/pizza/
I am sure the menu is something I have done because it was working.
Thanks for the tips on the Search and for the links!
Ed
Thanks Ben – marking this as resolved!
Cheers Ben – we appreciate your work and help!!
I am new to WP so just learning it. Old dog and this is a new trick (but a good one!).
It seems like the “Appearance > Customize” worked – that must be the last to load. Shouldn’t the changes in the child CSS have worked too (even though it was a copy of the ignite CSS styles)? Maybe something was resetting it after the block I was editing on Line 815 or so?
Without copying all styles, how would you go about updating link colors? There are several, about 33. Adding those all new without copying parent to the child would be difficult.
