I haven’t changed anything. That’s what’s really bugging me because I woke up one day and my template was all messed up.

I haven’t upgraded on purpose. I’ve done some heavy modifying to the code and upgrading would replace all of that with the default WordPress and I’d have to start all over again.

Also, my site looks like that because you’re running Firefox. I can’t stand Firefox so I’ve designed my site to look bad in Firefox. I used to do the same thing to Netscape users.

    And still no solution.

Now I’m having the same problem. The archives always displayed correctly before. Today, not so much.

Did you ever figure it out on your own?

I don’t really have to worry about that as I’m not planning on upgrading. My code is so randomly modified an upgrade would cause nothing but headaches. The new WordPress would have to be something really special, cleaning my kitchen and yelling at users for their spelling mistakes, etc.

The people who write for me aren’t too computer savvy. It’s one of the reasons I use blogging software rather than writing the code by hand like I used to before my web site turned into a communist free-for-all.

Basically, my question was posed out of anger, anger that I am constantly having to change timestamps on other peoples entries who can’t seem to be bothered with reading a calendar.

But it would be a pretty cool hack. Maybe it would spawn interest in daily blogs with assigned days. Eventually, I, the creator of said structure, would be too big for my own britches. I would be on Fox News in a segment somewhere between the latest identify theft scare and whatever Michael Jackson is doing this week. The chicks would show up in truckloads. Truck loads!

Can’t you just specify that right in the PHP thingy? Something like get_archives(‘999’) or something like that. I’m not too good with the PHP … or WordPress for that matter. Obviously.

The thing that really dills my pickle is that I’ve used WordPress before and this didn’t happen last time.

That did it! Woo! You may be the most awesome person alive. Remind me to send you cookies.

That almost works except it puts my name after all of the entries rather than the actual author name.

I don’t see it in there but thanks anyway.
