I found out that the Robots Meta plugin was conflicting with it.. once i deactivated the plugin, the archive link linke worked, but i have other wordpress site that use the same plugin and worked fine, any ideas why?

I am sorry if this sounds like a dumb question..

but what exactly are department pages? i’ve been trying to put products into individual pages without any department pages and that seems to be fine.

is department page the parent page of an individual product page?
