It seems like these icons at the bottom of your page are not from our plugin. Therefore there must be a conflict, which you’re experiencing while deactivating our plugin. If you’d like to fully use our plugin’s share buttons feature, please deactivate the other third party entity and use this display option within our plugin as well (you can select it under section #3).

Sharing with Instagram is currently not possible, because Meta doesn’t allow website post shares on Instagram as a function. If it gets changed on their end, we will update our plugin asap.

First and foremost, could you kindly remove the backup link you provided? That’s a link to your backup which is a security risk to your site to release it publicly.

Afterwards, please provide us a debug code from your site’s backend, with the method below;

Troubleshooting section > Check advanced options and click on button:

Sometimes, with larger backups, the download process takes a bit more time
It is possible that your browser may be unable to request a restore process using the same window session (e.g. unless you move your mouse).

In such a case, when you see the success message, you can safely refresh the page.
Once you refresh, force both processes to stop: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

Then you can run the restoration right from the list, it should be downloaded already.

Once you run the restoration, please make sure:
a) Your PC won’t go into sleep mode
b) Screen-saver mode is not enabled or active
c) [Mac] Drive-sleep mode is not enabled
d) You have not run the restoration from Opera GX or Brave browser
e) You don’t use any extension that limits resource usage or “saves energy”

Usually, you don’t need to care about the above things, but this is the complete list of things that can cancel the restore process.

1. For WhatsApp, this plugin doesn’t have this feature unlocked. But the Premium version of this plugin has the option to let a visitor text a Whatsapp number via clicking the icon.
2. For Facebook, it normally should automatically navigate to the Facebook app on the device. But it may be related to the browser settings too. We will need to monitor the issue, but I see that the staging site link you provided doesn’t allow us to take a look. Would you be able to provide us a live environment for us to test it out on our end? You can use this service: https://tastewp.org. They are great for this type of endeavors! ??
