I changed the trues to false and nothing changed. In the mean time, the whole plugin stopped working. Switching langauges doesn’t do anything anymore….well, not exactly….Some of the module titles get translated but most things do not. (if you look at the site, don’t get confused, there are a couple of articles written in Polish but most of it is in English.)
This was all working yesterday morning. I have a very active group of a couple of people who have been correcting translations for the last couple of weeks. Now, they are pretty much stuck.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the little change I made caused this to not work. I changed it back obviously but it was during this time I noticed it stopped working.

Something else, it says that I should have a cache plugin, such as wp-super cache…I do ?? Transposh doesn’t see it. Is there something I need to change?
Thanks again for a Great plugin.
Doug
ps. where might I find the human translations? The translations via google don’t break the sentences in the correct places because the grammar is pretty complex. We need to get into the ‘guts’ of the thing.
Cheers!
pss. I’m really not that blind, I just hadn’t looked before I lept. I know my way around wordpress and plugins, no programmer here but I can get around. One of those guys who knows enough to get into trouble but not enough to get out of it.
Hey… can you lead a blind man through the changes that need to be made?

In reply to: Facebook Login Button not working on Buddypress and WordPress?Mine stopped working a few weeks ago. Looking for an alternative.
That did it…now there’s a slight error with the image going through to fb. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to mess with it now but I don’t think it’ll be a big issue. I’ll have a look later.
Thanks so much for the support…so quick and so efficient. Much appreciated.
Doug
Just reset the app secret and got the same results.
hmmm
Thanks. I gave it a go but ‘nogo’
It says I’m authorized but also gives me the error message.

In reply to: [WP Forum Server] [Plugin: WP Forum Server] Paying for free stuff?I think this IS mingle. The mingle plugin hasn’t been updated in over 200days and this one just recently.
I also had the Mingle plugin and it stopped working. I kicked all the db files and attempted to reinstall it and it didn’t reinstall and db files.
I don’t mind paying for something if it’s kept updated but it does disturb me when a developer isn’t open about what they are doing. Surely doesn’t bode well for the ‘trust’ factor.
Also if you’ll note the dev on his ‘new’ page still has a bunch of “Lorem Ipsum…”

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] User Role EditorOh Eran… a man of wise words… What did you say?

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] User Role EditorAH ha…I forgot…and html or css issue, not sure which….Check out the screenshot.
Also, is there anyway to get some formatting abilities for the events? Can’t seem to figure out how to do a ‘list’ of bullet points and such.
Once again, thanks for a Great Plugin!

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] User Role EditorOh my friend….how can you suggest ‘another’ plugin?!?! Yours is the best!!
Ok, after doing what any “good” backyard-Wordpress’er should( I killed a couple of plugins and tried again) I found that there a conflict with the S2Members module. Not sure exactly why or how or anything as such but I know that I killed the mingle plugin and it still redirected to a ‘page’, titled profile, (mingle uses pages and not the wordpress user profile). When I killed the S2 plugin also, it worked. I reactivated Mingle and all is still ok.
If any more bugs pop up or conflicts, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Cheers,
Doug

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] User Role EditorThis is just incredible. You have created a calendar that is above and beyond what anyone could imagine. I am putting together a language learning site for our small little city and it will allow teachers and schools and clubs and anyone else involved in Language learning to post and promote their language events and contests. I am really really excited about this, you just have no idea.
I am however running into a small setback at the moment. I’ve installed the user capability manager and I’m trying to set it up that a ‘contributor’ can add an event. I also have the S2member plugin installed for future flexibility. In the capability options I have the following.(screenshot)
The problem is that when a user clicks on ‘add calendar event’ they are redirected to their mingle profile. Oh ya…I’m using the mingle social networking plugin also.
Any tips on what to ‘add’ to the mingle profile page? I’m thinking that there should be something tied in with their profile to add something to the calendar.
Thanks again for a WONDERFUL plugin.
Cheers,
DougI can confirm the info below. This was the solution. Go back to the/a template that will load the menus. Kill the ‘template specific’ menu. In my case I was using a portfolio type menu which created an additional ‘post/page’ input. They called it ‘portfolios’. Once I deleted the menu items pointing to those ‘template’ features I was able to access the menus again via the other templates.
Hi All,
I had the same problem and was able to fix it, so decided to share my experience.
With my case, it turned out that there was a menu containing links to some custom taxonomies, that have been defined in a previous theme but did not exist in this one. So I had a taxonomy called “Portfolio Category” and links to several portfolio categories in a previously created menu. I was able to fix it by activating the previously installed theme and removing those links from the menu(removing the whole menu should also work).
I hope this will be helpful.
IT WAS ??

In reply to: custom menu bar fatal errorSame problem here.
It doesn’t happen with all templates but to answer the first question people will have…yes, it happens on the default tentwenty theme.
Any love out here?
