In reply to: Theme Files Missing ErrorAlso, i did some research and saw this error come up in the beta section of 2.9. they marked it there as fixed, but apparently not, or not for me, at least.
If something is wrong in my setup, i’ll gladly fix it, but give me some pointers please.
i already tried the following:
auto upgrade 2.8 -> 2.9
clean install 2.9
manual upgrade 2.8 -> 2.9
no plugins – disactivate plugins – active plugins
activated/deactivated themeall with no effect…

In reply to: Theme Files Missing Errorsame here, but i did notice that this error only happens with the WordPress Classic 1.5 by Dave Shea theme, provided with the wordpress install, or my own theme, not with the WordPress Default 1.6 by Michael Heilemann theme, also provided with wordpress.
also, i found that if you correct the url when you get this error, you can still reach the files. It seems wordpress generates a false path to the theme files, and therefore cannot find them.
please fix this, or let us know how to fix this.

In reply to: Oops, no such file exists!I just found out that if you paste the full path in your address bar, wordpress will be able to find the file.
atm your url will look like this:
https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=/themes/yourtheme/archive.php(and here some info about the theme)
change this url into this:
https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=/home/website/public_html/website/themes/yourtheme/archive.php(and here some info about the theme)
you will need to check for yourself what you should put in the website/yoursite spaces.
So it seems that wordpress generates a false path, and therefore cannot find the file.
Is there any way to fix this?
