In reply to: Lost WSYSIWSYG option for bloggingHave you checked to see if a plugin is the issue?
The fastest way to do this is to log in to your site via FTP, go to wp-contents folder and rename the plugin folder to pluginxxx. Check to see if the visual editor comes back.
If it does, then you have a plugin that is messing with the visual editor. Rename pluginxxx back to plugin and start deactivating plugins one by one until you see the visual editor come back again.

In reply to: WordPress 3.4.2 Does Not support DB AbstractionThe only thing I can think of is that this plugin as to go into the mu-plugin folder. Did you verify that the plugin is installed there?
Also, this issue would best be directed at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-database-abstraction.
This looks like a plugin compatibility issue

In reply to: Lost WSYSIWSYG option for bloggingLog into WordPress and go to Users > Your Profile
The first option should say “Visual Editor” with a check box that says “Disable the visual editor when writing”.
Make sure that setting is unchecked. ??

In reply to: Manual Installation, HTTP 500 errorCheck your .htaccess file on your server.
For the root level, you should see something like this in the file in the top five lines:
RewriteEngine On RewriteBase /
Be sure that the RewriteBase / is correct and not point to a sub-folder.
Let us know if that fixes it. ??
Hey!
On your devbox, did you set up a virtual host?
If not, then your database is most likely pointing your siteurl to your production site.
Go to your devbox WordPress database and find your wp_options table. Browse that and the first row should be siteurl. If your siteurl is your production server domain, you will need to change that to your devbox url.
Make sense?

In reply to: One website / multiple domainsHaving 5 websites with duplicate content is not a good idea SEO wise. Your sites will be punished for that.
I would recommend having just 1 site and having all 5 domains forward to that 1 site.
