I tried, turned a bit off, a bit on, but nothing. The Open all-Close all links did appear, but clicking them did not do anything.

ive 2.5.1 and after some difficulty i cant remember well, i got it to work, too. But I also want to add it to the blogroll-section too, which is not possible, and both ulfben and the first author don’t seem to be taking requests, although i think that for those who know the script, it shouldn’t be too difficult en expansion…

also, i would like to use the plugin for smoothly displaying my blogroll links….

great! but actually it wasnt the number of characters, but the arbitrariness of the cut at any number of characters – i always consider my “more” well and the removing of all non-text characters… but im impressed by your plugin knowledge!

but that only gives me two hundred characters which I dont like…

I have no idea what it was, but I started to edit the first page which was being dumped on my post page, and then WP acted normally again. Hooray.

sorry, my mistake, in the wp-admin > presentation > wpdtree there are “List posts” checkboxes. I never saw them, as they are on the 2nd page.

Actually, my sidebar was finally crashed, without being able to rebuild the wpdtree menu, so as a last resort i went looking at the source code, and then i was wondering what the
$listchildpost = $wpdtreeopt['catopt']['listpost']; //show posts under category meant. Now I know ??

But actually, this is a workaround, not a solution, because the list post is apparently not scalable.

Hi, me again, I would really appreciate it, because now it keeps on crashing, telling me
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 152017 bytes) in /home/www/web1/html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 220 after which i have to go to /wp-admin/themes.php?page=wp-dtree-30/wp-dtree.php and click on Update settings to get it working again.

Strange, I have exactly the same from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3, or at least, only now i came aware of it. I just turned of my rich text editor, and now i have the buttons again, and when i turn it on, i have no buttons whatsoever.

I did have this wee problem with upgrading, and in the end i didnt upgrade one file, because with that wordpress died on me, but i cant tthink what that would have to do with the RTE. I mean, it works in 2.3.2, so it should also work in 2.3.3 with one file from 2.3.2

Okay, I got it working now; i was confused between templates, pages and… well just confused…

The only problem now is that

<?php the_content('Read more...'); ?> doesn’t abbreviate my posts, and <?php the_excerpt(); ?> only shows the first 55 words, without paying attention to the more tage. How come?

I want to do the same, a static small heading, explaining the site, and then dynamic, the latest posts. I myself am mostly wondering with template is being used for the front page, and how that templates interacts with the admin panels read first apge-section.
