I agree with you on Stella plugin and thank you for the work around the problem, didn’t think of that. What I did is used another form plugin – Visual Form Builder – which works fine with Stella plugin but now I could go back to Contact Form 7, cool.

You are right, I deactivated them all and found that problem happens only when I activate Stella plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/stella-free/), so I should contact their support?

I have no problem with the Contact Form 7 when using other Themes. If everything works with you while using Hemingway Theme, than I don’t know what else could be the source of the problem…

It lookes as if someone had the same problem and it was with the Theme: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/contact-form-7-and-wordpress-34-changes-not-saving?replies=3

but Hemingway Theme author suggests that it would be a Contact Form 7 issue.
