    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your suggestion, I’ve changed the shortcode to

    [random_testimonial count=’12’ theme=’light_style’]

and the right-hand side bar is back where it belongs (see the revised https://sciencecommunicated.co.uk/what-people-say/) . The theme doesn’t seem to be being applied though. The page looks rather boring with a simple list of quotes, so it would be nice to have the grey boxes of the light style even if I can’t have the slider.

I don’t have the Pro plugin by the way, and I’m not sure what it would add.

    Thanks,

    Elaine

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried to investigate a little further…

If I remove the shortcode instructions from my testimonials page (which by-the-way uses the same Page Template as my other pages), the right-hand sidebar appears as normal, containing my recent posts, twitter widget and tags.

However, if I insert the desired shortcode instructions, the testimonials now appear as I want them to, but the sidebar content is pushed down to the bottom of the page.

The shortcode instructions I have used are:
    [testimonials_cycle timer=”10000″ testimonials_per_slide=’4′ theme=’light_style’ transition=”scrollVert” random=”true”]

Do you have any ideas how to rectify it so the sidebars appear at the right-hand-side of the testimonials?

    Many thanks,

    Elaine
