In reply to: [WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version] Not working to downgrade off of 5.6Ok I think I figured this out. I was having the same issue.
The user experience is not intuitive.On the Downgrade Options screen, after you’ve entered your target version #, and saved the change. You see a message that says click on the link or the button to up/downgrade. This takes you to the WordPress Updates page.
On the WordPress Updates Page, it shows your Current Version, and then just below that there is a link to reinstall version and it should show the version # that you want to rollback or upgrade to.
Click the reinstall now button.
When you head back to the Downgrade screen you should see something like this:
No mine is a different issue. The client took a screenshot of the console errors. Happy to send that to you. It looks like the checkout result page was still set to https:// in the settings page. I’ve changed it to https://
Not sure if that will fix it or if something else is going on, because I didn’t see that behaviour during testing.

In reply to: [Slideshow] Slideshow Widget view – displays off the pageHi Stefan,
Thanks I was just about to give up. I may need to call in a little help but I sure would like to use your plugin.
I appreciate you putting the extra effort into helping me especially since the issue is not actually with your plugin.
Cheers!

In reply to: [Slideshow] Slideshow Widget view – displays off the pageHi Stefan,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I haven’t made any customizations to the sidebar that would result in the slideshow (and all other sidebar widgets) being nested in a list. I just grabbed the built-in slideshow widget and dropped it in.
I do use a “Display Widget” plugin that allows me to select and customize which pages a widget will appear on. I wonder if that is where the list format is being introduced.
I guess I’ll have to test with another theme.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] [Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Table not displayingHi Tobias,
I figured out what the problem was. I had installed Shortcodes ultimate and that seem to be the source of the conflict. Once I disabled it my tables reappeared.
Cheers

In reply to: [WP-Table Reloaded] [Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Table not displayingHi Tobias,
I am having a similar problem to the original poster.
I am using wordpress 3.2.1 and wp-table-reloaded 1.9.2
I was pretty sure that the issue was my theme as I have used the site successfully on other sites in the my wordpress mu network. And when I tried activating other shortcodes from another plugin the content did not appear either.I tried changing to the twenty ten theme but my content still doesn’t show up.
In the admin panel I see my tables and all the data in them.
On the front end I just see a blank page with no tables or data

I’ll plus one the request for Organize Series / Custom Post Type integration. I happen to be a premium OS member so will keep watching for updates there as well.

In reply to: Admin VERY slow since 3.1Hi all,
I just wanted to weigh in here to say that after upgrading from 3.1.4 to 3.2.1 I was experiencing all of the same symptoms of the original poster.
- Using multi-site (only six sites in the network)
- My wp-admin was excruciatingly slow (1- 2 minutes to move between any pages, links or actions).
- I disabled all of my plugins with no improvement
- Installed wp super cache, no change after configuration and some movement through the site
- I found that the speed of the front-end of the site was fine
Finally tried reverting from my chosen premium theme Dynamix to Twenty-eleven and the back end speed immediately improved to seconds instead of minutes.
I even tried reverting back to the Dynamix theme just to be sure it wasn’t the super cache plugin kicking in. As soon as I turned Dynamix back on the admin side slowed to a halt again.
Hope this helps others.

In reply to: [Plugin: Google Calendar Widget] Please post support issues hereHi,
I can’t get the agenda to display as evidenced here:
https://insight.selfdesign.org/event-calendar/
The events on display in the calendar should appear in the agenda.
I just get the ajax whirling effect.
I’ve pulled the correct xml feed link from Google and changed the basic to full.Thanks for your help.

In reply to: no superadmin menu on WP3 multisite install on dreamhost@nosilver4u, Thanks for sharing your snafu with the rest of us.
You saved me hours of grief. I made the same mistakeelan
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: WordPress 3.0 Multisite using sub-directories not creatingHmmm. I’m having a related problem. I am with dreamhost and when I complete the network set up I get the confirmation that a network has been set up. However I don’t have a superadmin menu.
I tried adding this to my .htaccess file:
”<Directory />
AllowOverride All
</Directory>’And it causes an internal server error.
I see that the DH one-click install added the following lines to my wp-config file:
‘$server = DB_HOST;
$loginsql = DB_USER;
$passsql = DB_PASSWORD;
$base = DB_NAME;’I commented these out.
So when I click on Tools > Network the system gives me a warning that a network has already been detected on my site. But I don’t have any super admin menu access to my network.
I did leave this line in the wp-config file:
‘define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true);’elan
