In reply to: [Testimonial Basics] qTranslate-X setupThanks for your reply. I’m a little confused about what you wrote to not use the group name for the language. I am using the group name for the language so that each language can be displayed independently. I could not see any other way to do this with qTranslate-X.
So that you know what my meaning is, please see this link for English testimonials and input form and this link for French testimonials and input form.
I’m open to any suggestions you may have.
Hi Jan,
I just went to check again and the datepicker is working in admin. So please, don’t spend any time on this.
Interesting about Airbnb not using persistent UIDs. That kind of goes against what they are there for!

Thanks Jan. I think that pretty much makes a bidirectional sync not possible. It’s understandable, but disappointing. I had wondered how you did that! I appreciate your candor (directness) about it.
I think that means that it would be better to add Airbnb bookings directly in the admin interface. I am not sure if I have an error, or if it is within known functionality, but I could not get a datepicker working within admin. That will make it hard for the user to add these bookings manually. Any input?
Thanks Jan. That’s good to hear. My next step is to sync with Airbnb.
After writing that very long message I just went to test again, even though I did not do the last step “Go to the table prefix_options and search for the option AvailabilityBooking_Uid_Updated and delete this option.”.
It appears to work now. Will it cause me any problems not having done this last step?

In reply to: [qTranslate X] qTranslate-X and filter hooksThanks for you reply.
I had already looked at the integration guide, but think it is the filter hooks on the side of Offers for WooCommerce. The developer, https://www.angelleye.com is taking a look at.
I’m very impressed with what you guys are doing with qTranslate-X.
Hi, Thanks for writing back. I had the “Automatically append canvas to the customizer page” set to “yes”. I just changed it to “no”, but I have the same result. It immediately went to a blank screen, and I’m not seeing any debug information with WP_DEBUG on.
I keep getting a white screen with the plugin in place. I have had it far enough to get the settings configured, but then I will get a white screen again.
Below is some of the system information in case it helps.

In reply to: [Offers for WooCommerce] Extremely happy for a donation siteAfter using the plugin more and doing some customisation, I wanted to mention how good the support has been, and also the willingness to consider requests for enhancements. The documentation is also really good. It’s a well done plugin. We are using it in combination with the PayPal for WooCommerce plugin, which is really well done also.

In reply to: [Offers for WooCommerce] Manage Offers front-end?It’s the “back-end” management of the offers that I would like to somehow bring to the front-end. The user (shop manager) is visually handicapped and really struggles with wp-admin. I know this is probably an insane amount of work, but I was just wondering after seeing “Manage Offers” in the wp-admin menu’s. Here is a link to a screenshot. For now, I have made a role based menu with a link to “Manage Offers” and that is helping.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Frontend Shop Manager - Free Version] Really niceMaybe I am missing something. I did not see the ability to modify the Product Short Description. Any chance for a screen snap or instructions? Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Pricing including tax inconsistent behviour (urgent)Lorro — Many thanks for your post. It made me realize something I had not checked. I had the Default Customer Address set to Geolocate address. When I changed it to Shop base address it is ok. It does not make sense why Geolocate did not work with only one tax rate, but I’m not going to worry about that(new in New in WC 2.3). At least now we can go-live.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Pricing including tax inconsistent behviour (urgent)I’m still not getting anywhere with this problem and we need to go live in 24 hours.
I have disable all plugins except WooCommerce, changed themes, etc., and we are still getting inconsistent results depending on who is logged in.
The worst thing is that when someone is not logged in they always receive all prices without tax including. We need all prices to show with tax included (standard in Europe).
If anyone has *any* idea’s, I am totally open to them.
Thanks.
I should have also mentioned that Germany is the Base Location for WooCommerce.
An news on the status of this? We really want to use WC Germanized/WPML/WPML soon.
We have English as the base language but will only be selling in Germany to begin with. Is there any chance it would work with the WC Germanized now, assuming we don’t need to the English translations for quite some time?
