In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksHaha no I’m just baffled. I mean I understand everything you’re saying but I feel like I’ve fixed it and yet it’s not working. I wish I could see exactly where you’re talking about but the line #s don’t match up when I look.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksI changed existing. You mean these?:
.navbar .nav > li.button > a:hover, p input.pushbutton-wide: hover{ color: rgb(0, 153, 204); border-color: rgb(0, 153, 204); background-color: white; color: #0099cc; } .navbar .nav > li.button:hover, .navbar .nav > li.button.current-menu-item{ background-color: #0099cc; border-color: white; color: #0099cc; }

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksOkay, I won’t. But when I hover over the button is blue with white text. That’s what I want. Is that what you see?

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksOk that’s what I thought. I feel like I have two entries for the nav.button hover. Thank you

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksBut I’m not trying to change the hover color I’m trying to change the color before you hover. So that the text is blue with a white background.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksOkay, by multiple css entries do you mean how these have commas with several items listed before the “{” ? Are you saying I should remove some of those in order to fix the button?
I’m sorry I’m so clueless about this, I really appreciate your help.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksOkay, I changed those and this is what I have:
.navbar li.menu-item.button a{ color: #0099CC; } .navbar .nav > li.button:hover, p input.pushbutton-wide:hover, .navbar .nav > li.button.current-menu-item { background-color: #0099CC; border-color: white; color: #0099CC; }
Shouldn’t the code that you gave me be working to alter the color of the text before you hover over it?

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksI’m sorry, I don’t know what you mean. I am newer to editing CSS but am getting pretty familiar with it. I am solely looking at my Custom CSS not the theme’s style sheets and so forth.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksOkay. From the other web designer’s original coding, I have these two pieces of CSS for this nav. button:
.navbar .nav > li.button > a:hover, p input.pushbutton-wide: hover { color: rgb(0, 153, 204); border-color: rgb(0, 153, 204); background-color: rgb(0, 153, 204); font-color: #0099cc; } .navbar .nav > li.button:hover, p input.pushbutton-wide:hover, .navbar .nav > li.button.current-menu-item { background-color: #0099CC; border-color: white; font-color: #0099CC; color: rgb(0, 153, 204); }
This is where I was originally trying to alter the colors and it never worked right. What should I erase or combine?

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksI tried that on the button and it’s still not working!

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksThank you deputy05! That fixed the links color.
As for the button, I entered that into the CSS and changed the color to #0099CC and it still didn’t work. All I need is for the text to be #0099CC before you hover over it.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksI’ll try that!
And yes I know, it’s maddening. There are several of those buttons throughout the site, and if you notice the one in the footer, that’s what I’m aiming for. But the one in the nav.bar is giving me trouble.

In reply to: [Customizr] Changing the color of all the linksThat’s a good question. Let me explain. This site is for work, and a web designer originally created it using the Customizr theme. I have now taken over the site and changed the design so that we are not using the look of the grey skin anymore. I didn’t actually code it out, I just created a Custom CSS code that changed the appearance of the original theme.
