Never mind, I figured it out.
It might be helpful to add to your documentation that you must be signed in the account of the alias email you want to use. I thought I had to sign in my admin email. And it would be nice if you update https://wpmailsmtp.com/gmail-send-from-alias-wp-mail-smtp to show that there is no longer a dropdown. You just add the alias email you want to use that is setup in Google.
So in the Google / Gmail section you must sign in with the user who has the alias email you want to use not the Google Workspace Admin email, unless it has the alias email.
Remove OAuth Connection?Connected as?[email protected]
If you want to use a different From Email address you can set up a Google email alias. Follow these instructions and then select the From Email at the top of this page.
You can also send emails with different From Email addresses, by disabling the Force From Email setting and using registered aliases throughout your WordPress site as the From Email addresses.
Removing the OAuth connection will give you an ability to redo the OAuth connection or link to another Google account.
I wanted to add to my support question, the billing email under a different user. Does this matter? Does the alias email have to be connected to the Google sign in? I am the admin of Google Workspace, the API is under my account, however the billing email is under a different user. I do not have a dropdown based on the videos I have watched and when I test my alias emails connected to me it does not work. It is still sending from support, which is the email I signed up with. The WP site settings are set to billing email. Any help would be great.

In reply to: How to delete duplicate cron events with the same name?Thank you, @bcworkz, I wrote WPBeginning and Jeremy provided this website https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/175878/delete-thousands-of-cron-jobs and it worked. Super happy!
For those who are reading this and looking for the same answer as me, this is what I did.
- BACKED UP my site!!!!!
- Visit this url https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/175878/delete-thousands-of-cron-jobs
- I installed WP Control to see the results. This plugin is lightweight (50kb)
- Took a screenshot of the custom plugins only.
- I followed this part “I logged on to phpMyAdmin. I clicked on my database and then the ‘search’ tab. I typed in ‘cron’ then selected ‘all tables’ and clicked ‘Go’. I scrolled down the search results list to my wp_options table. I clicked ‘Browse’. At the top of the list was option_name ‘cron’. I clicked ‘Edit’ then waited for the page to load. I clicked on the box that showed the list of cron jobs. The cron list was so long that it took about 80 seconds for my cursor to respond. I then used Ctrl-A on the keyboard to select all before hitting the delete button. It took about 2 minutes before my browser completed the deletion (chrome timed-out so I tried Firefox which worked).”
Some of the cron events did not come back, because of the screenshot I took of the custom cron events this helped me to know which ones were not added back. If you need further assistance on how to get the custom cron event back, I would contact the plugin provider.

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] How to delete duplicate cron jobs with the same name?Hello @johnbillion, will this be a future option? Because wow, I am not even sure why it has added this many. I just learned about WordPress Cron two days ago, because Updraft stopped working and gave me error messages. Saying I have too many Cron events scheduled that have not been completed, or something like that.
Thank you

In reply to: Taking over from the initial developersIf you trust this freelancer, then they should help you move away from this business. You will want to make sure you have everything in place before you migrate somewhere else. This includes your domain name. If they are hosting your domain name, you will want to move that over to your new host provider or companies that host domains.
Hope the best for you!

In reply to: Taking over from the initial developersIt might be more to it than requesting to be the Super Admin. If they are hosting your site and have complete control over it, then some companies like this set roles to protect the website and to keep the person from accidentally deleting things or making changes that could affect the website. Also, some companies have it in their agreement that while you hire them, they have complete control over your site.
So, if you request to have control, and you have an agreement with them, then you might have to host it somewhere else. Without knowing more, this is the best answer I can give.
Thank you

In reply to: Taking over from the initial developersHello faceyoganz,
If you want control over your website, then you will need to ask Innovate Digital to make you the Super Admin. If you are hosting your site with them, and they are modifying your site, then you will want to add them as an Administrator.
To answer your question, you will need to ask them to make these changes. When you login, it will tell you the role they have assigned to you.
Reading material about Users and their roles.

In reply to: [Code Embed] Comments Not Hiding On View Source CodeOkay, well it would be nice if you made a way to hide those html comments.
It would keep hackers or others to know we are using your plugin. This would help enhance security since hackers are constantly trying to get through plugins.
Just a suggestion. Thanks for all your hard work. ??
