Pcosta88: Updating to most recent Yoast won’t fix it. Only disabling Gutenberg solves the problem.
Okay, I see that you are working on this.
https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9991
But I hope this is done quickly because there are several posts that need to be posted before the deadline the Editors and music labels gave me… :-/
Oh, you may have got me wrong on this.
I have myurl.com/newsletter for my standard newsletter page (content: “Do you want to receive our newsletter, blah blah, [newsletter], blah etc”) and myurl.com/newsletter-info as the page for every other message which just contains the [newsletter] tag for all the messages and nothing else.
It’s very confusing to the visitors that the special cases message (for invalid emails etc.) only can be displayed on the standard newsletter page.
It would make much sense to make it possible that the “Special Cases” text (List building -> second tab -> option at the very bottom) may also be displayed the same way (by choosing “myurl.com/newsletter-info” or any other page).
Hey Stefano, sorry, I just found the problem a few hours ago and wanted to let you know, but you were faster ?? . The dedicated page was somehow overridden by an update or so. Just had to re-do the changes and everything works properly.
BUT: when there is a problem with the email address (that ‘oops, something went wrong’ text) I can not specify a dedicated page for this – it’s embedded in the main newsletter page. Would it be possible to include a custom page for that in a future update?
Thank you so much
ChrisOh, and out of curiosity, I tried it with the new exec limit. Seems to work like a charm now. Thanks! Never would’ve thought that this was the problem.
It was set to 120 seconds. I increased it to 300 now and will let you know further details as soon as I continue working on the newsletter. ??
I am on my way to work right now, but I think it is 60 or even 120 seconds. I’ll check when I’m back home. Thanks for everything.
Nothing reported. ?? But as I said, “sometimes” it won’t return. Hm.
That may be a thing for the next plugin update – i think it would be less confusing if the dropdown would automatically appear once an user unchecks the autoconfig box. I would have found this option much easier then. ??
Anyway: thumbs up for the great work!
If not, you can switch to manual determination and choose the site using the dropdown menu.
This did the trick!
I just didn’t see that I had to save the settings after unchecking the autoconfig option – THEN the user is able to choose from the sites to be tracked.
Thanks for your help!
Great, thanks for fixing it!

In reply to: [Social Login] When deleting the pluginThank you a lot, that’s what I just did. Because website owners also have to write down something into their privacy policy (german: Datenschutzerkl?rung) i wonder what it is with the Social Login plugin.

In reply to: [Social Login] GDPR Compliance QueryI am also extremely interested in this because our sites in Germany/Europe need to be GDPR compliant on 25. of May 2018. I don’t want to delete this very comfortable plugin because it’s also good for the users’ experience. But if it doesn’t comply to the GDPR i am not allowed to use this plugin anymore.
