    Update..
I am slowly working thru some of these issues and making sense out of it all. Somehas been my misinterpretting of info and some is some kind of a bug.

First, I tried to run Galleryview in a post, which requires another plugin, which was not installed, and this seems to mess things up where the post preview stops working. Now that I am back to a working preview, I can summazrize my remaining issue below.

When trying to put a gallery into a post, the preview of the post looks fine, and when I click on “view post” jsut above the edit box, that produces a vew of the post which looks fine. But, when I publish the post changes or post, and go to the blog page to look at the post, the gallery is not in the post, just as if I did not add anything.

No problem with putting the galley on a page. I do not have this problem in that case.

Any ideas. Theme issue? I am using Canvas. Plugin issue?

    Thanks much.

    Hi,

What I did to get it to work was something like this……..

    1. Changed the location where the JW Image Rotator swf file was uploaded to. I put it in wp-content/gallery. And also left it in the suggested location of wp-content/uploads/2010/06.
    2. Then I went back to the Nextgallery options page and the slideshow tab on that page and changed the path to the new path of where this file is.
    3. I hit the search button to the right. It hiccupeed and churned and I notice it, as a result of the search, found it at the original place, and populated the entry box to the left of the search button with the original location.
    4. I then noticed that the error message went away.
    5. The above process makes no sense but I think it has something to do with makign sure you hit the search button and from that process it recognizes it and does whatever it needs to do. If you do not hit the search button then just by entering the path into the box on the left won’t do it.
    6. That is my quick analysis of what is going on. Play around with that and see if you can get it to work.

Now I amhaving problems with the gallery showing up in my preveiw post but not in the published post. Yikes.

I also noticed that the preview post function is not working now since I hafe been trying to add a gallery into the posts. Now, even a new post, I cannot preview. Something the plugin broke maybe?

OK, I see now in the Slideshow tab there is a place to specify the path. Now I tried and at least see a black box where the slideshow should be. Now i need to figure out why just a black box and not my four slides in my gallery being shown.
