I’ve just encounted the same problem.
Its DISQUS. 100% sure, went through all the plug ins.
Nothing but the header shows up when you use DISQUS and Lightbox Plus are both activated in IE8.
I’ve actually de-activated DISQUS becasue I can’t stand being without this beautiful Lightbox with custom css.
Will very eagerly await the fix, and thanks for all your work on this efficient, useful plugin.
