The choice between Block Checkout and Classic Checkout in WooCommerce primarily depends on the version of WooCommerce you are using.
As of WooCommerce version 8.3 and later, Block Checkout is the default experience. The Classic Checkout, which is based on shortcodes, is still available but requires manual activation, depending on your WooCommerce settings and theme compatibility.
WoodMart is a premium WooCommerce theme that generally supports both Classic and Block-based checkouts. However, please note that certain features or customizations may behave differently depending on which checkout method you choose.
Additionally, as we mentioned, if your checkout page is created using shortcode, you need to add and update the fields in the Checkout Fields section. Conversely, if your checkout is configured using WooCommerce Blocks, the fields need to be added and updated in the Blocks Checkout Fields section.
Please refer to the below links for more details.

Hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi,
We believe that you are currently using Block Checkout, not Classic Checkout. The ‘Checkout Fields’ tab is for configuring settings related to Classic Checkout, while the ‘Block Checkout Fields’ tab is for managing fields in Block Checkout.
Please note that Block Checkout has limited customization options compared to Classic Checkout. You can either switch to Classic Checkout to access all settings or continue using Block Checkout with the available options.
For styling in Block Checkout:
To position fields side by side (left and right):flex: 1 0 calc(50% - 12px);
For full-width fields:flex: 0 0 100%;
We hope this helps.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Checkout Field Editor (Checkout Manager) for WooCommerce] getting erroeWe believe the issue may be related to the removal of mandatory billing fields, such as billing_last_name etc.
Kindly be informed that these fields are mandatory for processing payments through the payment method.
Could you kindly check if enabling these fields resolves the issue?
Thank you!
Hi @geea
We appreciate you sharing that information with us.
As we mentioned in our previous update, it is recommended not to remove or override the default WooCommerce fields as it may lead to unexpected errors on your website and we believe it might be the cause of the issue.
That said, we’re still looking into this to see if there are any other factors contributing to the issue.We’re happy to hear that switching to the classic checkout page has resolved the issue for now.
Thank you!
We believe that the issue is due to the low value (1000) for the run-time configuration property max_input_vars. Could you please increase the value of max_input_vars to 3000 or 5000 and verify once again from your side. The following article can help you to increase max_input_vars value:

?
If the issue persists, it may require a more detailed check. In that case, can you please raise a ticket through our website? We hope our technical team will be able to help you.Thank you!
Could you please confirm if you’re using the latest versions of both WordPress and WooCommerce?
Also, could you please confirm whether you have deleted any default WooCommerce fields using our plugin?
Please note that it is recommended not to remove or override the default WooCommerce fields as it may lead to unexpected errors on your website.
Based on the error message you provided, we believe that it might be related to the below points.Check REST API Authentication
- The blocks-based checkout might rely on REST API endpoints that require proper authentication. Ensure that:
- The REST API is enabled and functioning correctly. You can test this by visiting?/wp-json/?on your site (e.g.,?https://yoursite.com/wp-json/).
- Nonce or session-based authentication is working correctly for logged-in users.
Thank you!
Normally, when selecting an option through our plugin, the price should update accordingly. Based on your description, it seems like this may be a site-specific issue.
