In reply to: WordPress HTML Static PageHi sohbetodamorg,
sounds like you managed to do exactly what I’m interested in: create a basic html (php) page that “grabs content from wordpress”.
Can you tell the url of your landing page or explain the code you inserted in it?
Thanks!!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Theme Customize Prompting for Login ConstantlyHi, I’m the last arrived here, and a completely newbe of wordpress, so I’m not sure I’m telliing you the right thing, anyway I’ll try: maybe you are in the wrong forum. In the welcome message you can read:
“Before you post, make sure you’re posting about a self hosted www.ads-software.com site and NOT a WordPress.com site. If you’re not sure, read WordPress.com vs www.ads-software.com.
These forums are meant for the core application, themes, and plugins that are distributed on www.ads-software.com.”I suppose there is a different forum for wordpress.com. You may want to post there.
I hope this helps.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: insert WP in a html websiteHi epicdevspace, thank you for your reply.
You mean I could have a wordpress website not indexed on the search engines (does this work?), and a normal website that calls in the information via RSS. I will study this possibility, thank you for the suggestion.
It sounds a winding way to do it, though.
Wouldn’t it be easier to call via php the information (text and images) directly from the database as I immagine WP does?
