Yes precisely they are blank, whereas in the edit I have a whole page set up. Even when I click on the preview it doesn’t show what I have in the edit. Precisely the discrepancy I’m wondering about.

I disabled Polylang and the issue persists, not sure it’s related to that…

Is the way to reseting Permalinks just by pressing “save”? In which case I did, still have the same issue.

Thanks for replying.

So regarding the changes that are not showing it might be obvious if you click on the link attached to this thread (here bellow again). Essentially I get the website title and a menu on the right (that isn’t even the correct menu). Again I don’t know how to read code, but it definitely looks as if I was directed to the wrong page. And that is true for a number of pages I created (a contact page with a contact form or an “about page” with descriptions, media etc…)

Conversely, the homepage and the page bellow do show properly.

I can’t understand the logic behind it. I will mention I created each time an english and a french page with the Polylang plugin but the problem isn’t there as I already tried turning the plugin off to no avail regarding the problem.

As to “where” I’m seeing this, I’m not exactly sure what the question is… Maybe I answered already? Looked it up on multiple browsers and devices, same issue.

I do have this problem as well with all plugins deactivated.

Really hard to say what the issue is. It’s specific to this video cause I don’t have that problem with other Vimeo links I’m embedding on this same website.

I wouldn’t know regarding embedding, since I’m using only this one.
But even within this theme I’m not having this problem for all videos.

I’ve made embedding this video possible now on any website, you’re welcome to give it a try again, might be helpful.

You mean to deactivate all plugins that are active?

It got actually more perplexing as some of the Vimeo links on my website embed normally from editor to front end, but still this one doesn’t show on the front end (as you can see on the link above). I checked on the Vimeo end of things, all seems normal.

Hi Michael,

Thanks a lot for steps three and four, worked like a charm.
I’ll make sure to address steps one and two to becomes more independent and flexible in how I can work with WordPress.

In the meantime, if there’s an “easy” tip as to how to write the same codes for different pages I’ll take it with pleasure.
