Hi, both plugins serve different purposes. Jetpack will provide you with tools for better content authoring, speed up images (thus making your site load faster), statistics, mobile apps for management/content authoring, security and backup features. Yoast will allow you to improve the SEO of your site. Jetpack has some SEO tools too, and when Yoast is activated, Jetpack will turn off its SEO tools since Yoast is a dedicated solution for this.
So feel free to use both, since each one will solve a specific need.

It’s been fixed now, thanks for reporting!

To install 4.0.2, did you access your site through FTP and deleted the folder wp-content/plugins/jetpack, to then go to WP Admin and install it again?

This is a free plugin. Every plugin and theme in www.ads-software.com is free. To install it, just go to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New, search plugins for “wp-polls” and click Install Now when it shows up.

Hey guys, try this: create (using a plain text editor) a file named modify-footer-text.php and paste this in it:

Now go to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New, click Upload Plugin button at the top, select the file you created. Activate it as a plugin and everything from Powered… will be gone.

Hi, these steps might be technical and you’ll have to use an FTP client but it’s the only way to bring back your site:

1. access your site’s server through FTP
2. browse to /home/juospi12/intentalocarito.com/wp-content/plugins/
3. find a folder named all-in-one-seo-pack
4. rename it to _all-in-one-seo-pack

This will disable All in one SEO pack which is causing this issue. Your site should be back now.

Hi, to make the widget appear only on that page you could use Custom Sidebars plugin

to create a sidebar specifically for that page and add the widget there.

However, please note that anyone with the link to the pdf can share it and access it. For that, you should use a membership plugin that allows access only to registered users.
