I think I hit on ‘Resolved’ by mistake. It’s not resolved so hope to still get a reply. I might repost it as I think this might be not looked at now that it says resolved.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Widen margins?Hi it looks like you have managed to align your margins more to the left. I’m battling to do the same. I’ve managed to make my front page 80% width but the rest of my pages look about 60% width. Can you tell me how you’ve done it please. My website is https://www.handymanstives.co.uk
Sorry meant to write heading – Making all pages FULL width pages

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] No imagery on the mapHere’s a bit more explanation of the problem. The map was showing about 10 standard markers which had descriptions and names of trees on each one. All the GPS settings are still there in the back end but they aren’t showing on the map and the map has disappeared.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Not a pleasant upgradeI would just like to say thank you to the plugin developers who provide a free service & is recommending this change. I know it’s a pain especially when we have lots of sites to change but they are trying to help us deal with the problem caused by all the spam filters. My one website the mails stopped coming through and I hadn’t even upgraded the plugin so it’s got nothing to do with that. Now I’ve made the suggested change (without upgrading the plugin), it’s working ok. Hopefully all is ok when I upgrade the plugin

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Not a pleasant upgradeHi I’ve got quite a lot of sites I need to changes so can you please clarify so I can get it right the first time.
Do you advise upgrading the plugin? I’ve got a client who suddenly isn’t receiving her emails and her plugin isn’t upgraded so the problem is not due to the upgrade but I understand that this change is just so that the emails don’t go into spam so it’s probably due to that. Luckily I’ve got ‘Flamingo’ installed on all sites as this records all messages on the wordpress dashboard. So is this correct?

I’ve tested this and it doesn’t work in gmail. Maybe it works in outlook? What do you think I’m doing wrong. Through experience I know that most of my clients will reply to the email thinking that it will go to the clients email and now it won’t. This is a big problem I think, is there anyway around this?
Also some people prefer the contact form messages to go to a different email. Is it ok to make the
