Funny you should mention that one. I tried that custom code in a child theme along with other similar functions and non of them worked for me until I added the Add to cart element to the sales page. Seems obvious now but I was expecting it to work using a custom button with a link directly to the page.
So it redirects correctly now but for some reason the Add to Cart button is now on the Checkout page. Always something!

I understand that WC expects the two pages to be different if using both of them, but if I am not using the Cart page at all and just jump to the Checkout page do you think this messes something up with WC?
Does the flow have to be Sales page -> Cart -> Checkout?
I’m just wondering what some of the plugins do that also skip the Cart page.

That’s not a bad idea to try with the cart page. Although it is working again (for now). If it stops working again I will definitely try that out.

I didn’t use any other plugin. I just didn’t assign anything to the cart page and I have the buy button link to the checkout page. Do you think this could be an issue?
