I think to run PHP code in the popup you would need a plugin like PHPExec. Otherwise you would need to edit your theme to insert the code where you want it to appear, and some kind of conditional check to make sure it only triggers when you want it to.

I’m having difficulty replicating this issue. I have tried it on my own test site and dropping a subscription has no effect on user roles. To my knowledge Membership doesn’t touch the actual roles, it just adds further restrictions based on the role the user already has.

Can you please confirm the configuration of the levels and subscriptions you have, and if you have any other plugins running that might affect roles?

Unfortunately this is not a default feature of the plugin. To be able to add new fields you would have to edit the code.

Having said that, if you happen to be using BuddyPress you can add custom profiles fields in the BuddyPress settings, and Membership will automatically integrate them into the registration form.

You can install and run BuddyPress without having to use any of its actual features, so to add custom fields without editing the code, this is probably your best route to take.

Sadly not. They are saved in a separate folder. This is a question which has come up before, and the feature request has been sent to the developers for consideration. Please watch our release notes for any updates on this front.

Can you confirm if this is the only rule you have set, or are there other rules active? Bear in mind the popup will only show if ALL rules are satisfied.

If this is the only active rule, try using /current-issue/ (or just current-issue/) to see if that helps.

I’ll mention this to the developer to see if we can add it, although the plugin is only intended for images, videos and links, so I’m not sure they will want to extend it at this point.

This certainly sounds like a permission/security issue. I can’t replicate it on my own test server.

Has anyone here tested it with BP 1.7 to see if it fixes it for those who had issues?
