In reply to: [Membership 2] Pay without leaving site?Hi @4dmedia,
I’m afraid this isn’t currently possible. The payment gateways this plugin supports all require the payment to be processed on the payment gateway’s site. This is for security reasons as the plugin cannot guarantee that data is sent securely from your server to the payment gateway.
Sorry!

In reply to: [Membership 2] Help – Use for online course?Hi @rich95,
Yes I think Membership will handle this nicely. The plugin comes with an option to create URL groups, which you can use to protect pages by their URL. You can simply create a URL group for your Sensei courses and then protect them from anyone who is not signed up with a monthly sub.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Membership 2] registering before payingSure… you can add a rule to the membership level they signed up for that protects the page/menu option so that it gets hidden.
I just tried a sign up on your site and here’s what I got:
> WordPress account created, no subscription created or payment sent
> I can log in, but am NOT an admin
> I have committee membershipThe committee membership thing is just a matter of settings. I’m guessing you have set the option to assign Committee Membership to free members, so as soon as someone signs up they are given this subscription package.
If you change this setting to None, or perhaps create a new subscription package called FREE you can avoid this accidental assigning of members access to those who have not paid.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] How to Set Maximum Upload File SizeHi @sweetmelody,
Maximum upload size is a server/PHP setting that cannot be changed inside WordPress, you need to change the setting on your server.
A quick Google and I’ve found the following article for you, which explains how to change the setting… although it might be necessary to contact your hosting provider.

Hope that helps!
Hi @zinger88,
Have you added an “Extra Shipping Price” to the individual product? If so this will add extra shipping charges to those set in the options.
If you have not set this option, please provide a link to your site so that we can take a look at what’s going on for you.
Thanks

In reply to: [Membership 2] registering before payingIf you can fix the sign-up issue (try disabling plugins until you find which one might be preventing sign-up), we can offer more assistance.
I think your issue is just configuration (as suggested above). You just need to setup the default level assigned to people who haven’t chosen a paid package yet.

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] Activity stream not showingThis is definitely possible… as can be seen on my own test site:
To set it to do this you need to use the option “or use Javascript to resize and center the popover” in the settings for the individual popup.

In reply to: [Posterous Importer Advanced] Much text is missing after importI’m afraid it is too late. Posterous have closed their doors and said their goodbyes! ??
Shame we didn’t have a bit more warning so that we could have had this plugin running longer… but that’s the way things go!
Sorry!

In reply to: [Membership 2] My own sign up pageProbably the easiest way to do this is to create a “Free” access level and set this to be the default access level given to strangers and new sign ups. That way the user will not need to pick a subscription level when they sign up.
Hi @rodel0421,
This is not a specific feature available in this plugin, however you could potentially hide the popup using responsive CSS for mobile devices:
@media screen and (min-width: 360px) and (max-width: 759px) { .visiblebox { display: none !important; } }
Hi guys.
not sure why this thread went so long unnoticed. I didn’t work with WPMU DEV 7 months ago, but now we’re doing all we can to tidy up these forums I want to take a look at this now it’s been resurrected.
I’ll forward this to our developers to look at as I have recreated this on my test server.
@szezol are you still following this thread?
This sounds like an issue with roles and capabilities. Do you have any plugins running for managing roles?
Cache shouldn’t be the issue. Can you confirm your settings, including which rules you are using, and provide a URL so we can see what’s happening.
