I had imported manually some comments from my Etsy shop, but some were showing as the customer name, and some were associated to my name. Can’t figure out why.
I have reentered the comments that were not showing correctly in the feed, and it seems to work.
Too bad I am missing 2 more reviews to get to the minimum of 50 required by Google. lol! Hopefully more reviews should be coming in with the holiday shopping spree. I’ll keep asking my buyers to make a review.
Hi! I am experiencing the same issue with my connection for a few weeks now : Site’s Health says my site needs to reconnect to Jetpack, but my Jetpack dashboard says it is connected, and my stats and all functions are fine. I have tried to reconnect numerous times to no avail.
I have tested deactivating plugins, and the conflict seems to come from Really Simple SSL plugin. But I really need SSL on my site, as it is transactionnal. Any cue on which function of the plugin could interfere with Jetpack?
Thanks!
***Edit : I found and fixed the problem. In the hardening settings, I unchecked XML-RPC deactivation, and it worked. Now, is this critical for my site’s security?***

@sdenis I did try the update today. It didn’t seem to have any effect. I still have mismatch in the original language… I can’t tell if it is new ones or old ones, though.
I checked the database earlier this week (before update), and it looks like there is an offset in the database vs TP string translation app. Some strings are duplicate, and translation in database is not the same than what’s showing in TP string translation app.
Here are some examples:
From what I can recall, the bug started after some translations were manually fixed using the string translation app, but not right after. Only with TP following update.
How can I fix the database? Will I have to start afresh, losing all the work that was done? Or have to manually go through the whole database to check translations? ??
P.S. The plugin is currently not active on the site, because I don’t want people to run into those strange translations while shopping…
Hope you can figure out something with these infos…
I am having the same issue. I have temporarily deactivated translatepress on my site, but will follow this topic for resolution.
Thanks @gerske Your bug seams a lot like mine (issue #1)… Have you temporarily deactivated TranslatePress on your site, like I did on mine? How will we know when/if it’s fixed?

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards] Changing image format displayHi @hectorgc,
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it : it allows me to reduce the size of the thumbnail so it displays on many columns, which is nice.
But the image display ratio remains 1:1, when the original image is rectangular horizontally. I really want the image to show in its original ratio, not cropped to be square. Any cue?
Good day to you!

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards] Changing image format displayHi @silverd,
That is odd… On my computer it is not the same.
But either way, I would like the image display format to be original 8:5 rather than resized to square 1:1, no matter which language it is displayed on.
Any cue?

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards] Changing image format displayHi @silverd,
The images I am talking about are the card selection images. Not the product image.
Please look at the screenshot provided to see the differences side to side https://tailleetretailles.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Capture-du-2021-10-04-11-51-44.png
On the left : original in French, selection images are resized from rectangular to square, so a part of them is missing. On the right, English translated images, TranslatePress is changing the selection images to the English version, and the selection images are showing in their original format (rectangular), therefore being complete.
My question: how can I have the selection images showing in their original format (rectangular) on the French version, which is the default language for my site?
Thank you!
@asimbhuta Hi!
Yes, by purchasing the extension, the developers provided a snippet of code to implement that feature, which is working fine. You can contact them at [email protected]
If you wish to see the result of the snippet, you can check this listing on my site : https://tailleetretailles.ca/en/product/cb3ronds/
