Positioning the widget to the sidebar seems to do something, or even overwrite the positioning in general plugin settings, such as under the post, under the comment, etc… I did not see anything at all when positioning the ad in the plugin settings, but the widget area seems to react to the settings of ad block or the block of links… strange.

I have installed it and playing with the settings. It looks it will appear at a different place than where the theme allowed me to – into the right side bar. Instead the ad may occur anywhere.

I have purchased and modified my theme in CSS, so this is out of question. I have received a great customer support, although with limitations, but I am fine with that right now.

I just want the AdSense work on my wp.org. Some people say it should work, others say it will never work. So what is the truth?

So if I stay with wp.org, how will I make the AdSense to read my traffic? They say that it removed some identification code from the whole advert code and that is why it is not working…

Hahaha, while having a discussion about the plugins making mess, one such thing has messed up with my website after updating it (among updating few others). Simple Subscribe… has anyone had a problem with it? It had completely hidden my footer code and all the meta, calendar, recent posts in the footer panel. A dear theme developer helped me to identify and fix the problem. I was really ready to recover the website from the back-up I have made prior the updates…

Thank you guys. I have just backed up the whole website before updating 4 plugins that gradually accummulated for update. It takes time to do that and I have been advised to back-up prior upload.

Regarding that account I have queries about, I think I will delete it completely. It has been blocked for over a week, nobody contacted me about anything. If something, he will get in touch, at least with anger. Or not, if he is a spammer. Right?
