Hi @hififaber
To investigate this effectively and find out what may be causing this if the issue still persists, we may need to login to your WP admin. If you don’t mind, kindly get in touch with me via elvis at fooplugins dot com and we’ll continue this conversation from there. Thanks
Hi @ristretto6
Looking at the page shared after it has loaded, I can observe a message informing me that there has been a critical error, which is shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/lrhlA57rVZ4o
Could you kindly confirm from the site’s admin email address or the site’s logs what the cause of this error is? This may be what is causing this issue. Thanks
Hi @att18
Could you kindly share a link to a page containing a gallery so that we can test this from our end and analyze the gallery on that page before we can advise further on this? Thanks in advance for doing so.
Regards,
ElvisHi @ristretto6
Based on the screenshots you shared, it looks like there might be a conflict, possibly caused by another plugin active on that page or even the theme you’re using.
To help us investigate this more effectively, could you please create a duplicate of the page with that gallery included and share the link with us? This will allow us to dig deeper and identify any issues that may be causing the problem.
You can set the page to “Hidden” so it won’t be visible on the frontend, and once we’ve resolved the issue, you can go ahead and delete the page. Thanks!
You can use the following CSS to make the caption and description larger on hover. You can modify it to your preference:
.foogallery .fg-caption-title,
.foogallery .fg-caption-title a,
.foogallery .fg-caption-desc,
.foogallery .fg-caption-desc a{
transition: font-size 0.3s ease; /* Smooth transition for size change */
}
.foogallery .fg-caption-title:hover,
.foogallery.fg-caption-title a:hover,
.foogallery .fg-caption-desc:hover,
.foogallery .fg-caption-desc a:hover{
font-size: 20px; /* Larger font size on hover, adjust as needed */
}Thanks.
I have been looking at the Cyr-To-Lat plugin, which seems to be some sort of translator plugin. However, I cannot see from their documentation if they can translate media tags and media categories added to images that you have highlighted in the image shared.
For the “All” tag, this can be changed to any language or text from the FooGallery settings. Simply navigate to FoGallery -> Settings -> Language tab and scroll to “Filtering” to do so.
Thanks.Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Could you please let us know where you received the security alert? Was it from a security plugin or another security service/site? If possible, kindly generate and share any reports, links to them or any additional information regarding this vulnerability to provide us with as much detail as possible.
This information will help us identify the root cause of the issue and address it effectively before releasing a patch. We appreciate your assistance with this.

Based on what you’re looking to implement, it’s currently possible to set up a gallery so that when an individual image is clicked, it opens in a new tab for the visitor to view.
All you need to do is to set the “Thumbnail Link” option to “Custom URL” while creating and configuring the gallery, then set “Lightbox” to “None” and finally on the image themselves, use the attachment modal to set “Custom Target” to “New Tab” as shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/xhHOuxgy7Ojq
However, it’s important to note that it is not feasible to have the entire gallery open in a new tab. You can only have individual images within the gallery do so.
That said, you could use the Single Thumbnail Gallery template along with the FooGallery Lightbox or FooBox Lightbox (our standalone lightbox plugin). This setup allows you to display a gallery on a page with a single thumbnail image. When the image is clicked, a lightbox opens, and visitors can scroll through all the images in that gallery. On mobile devices, users can simply pinch the image to zoom in.
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

ElvisHi @hififaber
I’m sorry to learn that you went through this issue. As an initial troubleshooting step, kindly navigate to the “Plugins” tab and click on the “Run Detection Again” button to see if it’ll resolve this issue. Thanks.
Kind regards,
ElvisHi @gatsbycat
You can use FooGallery’s Advanced Attachment Modal or even the WordPress Media Library to add attributes to an image. In your case, I would advise you to modify the “Custom URL” and “Custom Target” values shown in this example (https://prnt.sc/pNPPSh4hSaos) to see if it will assist with this. Thanks.

ElvisWe haven’t heard from you in a while, so we presume the problem has been resolved and we’re closing this support ticket.
If you are still experiencing the problem, then please open a new support ticket.

I can see that you are using FooBox lightbox on the page with the gallery. On devices with smaller screens, the lightbox does adapt so that it can properly display the image for the visitor, which explains what you have been viewing.
With that said, you can check on the “Fit To Screen” setting which may give your customer a display they may prefer more: https://prnt.sc/-0PG3S7eIUun
Thanks

There are two solutions available in FooGallery that can help with this.
- Loading Galleries from Server Folders: This feature allows you to create galleries directly from server folders. You can select a folder on your server, and the gallery will pull images from that location. These server folders, which could include those created by the File-in plugin, are stored on your server but not within your website itself. FooGallery then enables you to display images from these folders.
Here’s a guide to help you get started with this feature:
Loading Galleries from Server Folders- Using Real Media Library: The second option involves switching to the Real Media Library plugin, an alternative to File-In. FooGallery integrates with Real Media Library, enabling you to load galleries from media library folders created through the plugin.
Here’s a guide to get started:
Loading Galleries from Real Media LibraryPlease note that both features are only available in FooGallery PRO Expert and PRO Commerce. We offer a free 7-day trial for all of the plans available, so you can test these features without commitment. Just install and activate the free version of FooGallery, then follow our guide to start the trial. No credit card or payment details are required, and you won’t be billed after the trial.
Instructions to start the free trial can be found here:

ElvisHi @willowleaf
I have had a look at the page you have shared and on clicking on the image thumbnails of the gallery on that page, the images are opened using FooBox as expected. I have also gone through other pages that have a gallery added and the images are all opened with FooBox when the thumbnail is clicked.
Kindly let me know if you are making the same observations and if FooBox is working on your site as expected. Thanks.
Kind regards,
Elvis.
