Thanks. The content of that article was very similar to the other one posted above. None of this solves my issue. I’ve reduced the character count but Google is still displaying as:

Dog Friendly Retreats: Dog Friendly Cottages & Holidays

This is for the home page.

Most other pages display as intended. But Google likes to show site name at the beginning, even though I’ve placed at the end in Yoast settings.

I’ve seen this on several other sites using Yoast.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Thank you. I’ve been through this article before. It is search term manipulation. But what I can’t understand is why this only seems to happen to me when using Yoast. If I use another SEO plugin it shows the title at the end. Very strange.

I now seem to remember someone saying Google does this when the title tag is too long. I will try to bring it within the character length and see if that works.

Thanks for your help. The form is allowed to work in learning mode. So once I’ve submitted the form a few times, Wordfence should then know to allow these form submissions in future when learning mode is disabled?

Anyone have any ideas?

I realised I had a development site for this website, which is almost an exact copy. So I de-activated everything and then re-activated one by one.

As soon as I de-activated everything, the forms worked correctly. But they continued to work and still work after all the plugins have been re-activated. It is now working on this test site. Whatever conflict there was has been eliminated. Very odd.

Before I start tinkering with the live site, do you have any ideas why this may have happened?

I can’t do that on a live site.

Should the above configuration work? Can I force it to show sender address?

I’m using version 3.5.1 so the hotfix has not cured this issue for me.

But I have a similar /additional question on this subject.

Is there a way for description to use first part of page/post content by default when no bespoke description is entered in Meta Description Editor?

Or do I need to enter a bespoke description for each and every page / post?
