In reply to: [Gutenberg] Making everything a block is cumbersome.Hi Tammie, thanks for your response. Its reassuring to see an enthusiastic interest in feedback.
I’ve been using 2.3.0. I tested the editor by creating a simple blog style article with a couple of images and several paragraphs of text and headings.
I develop/design sites for small/medium sized businesses and use WP as a CMS so clients can edit defined areas of their site. Clients are often not very computer literate and edits are mostly restricted to adding simple blog style articles or entering information into a list of custom fields set up in custom post types. I need any data entry by the client to be as simple as possible otherwise they either won’t use it, trash their site, or cost me a lot of time in support.
This is why the new editor concerns me. It behaves very differently to a Wordproccessor which clients are used to using. There is also a lot of UI that appears on screen interrupting workflow in a jarring manner, offering functionality I don’t really want to offer. I’m not a fan of page builders for even a technically proficient client as I think with the best most intuitive tool in the world they just make poor design decisions and can quickly trash an initially carefully structured site.
I’d be happy and interested in trying new versions and continue to give feedback. Good luck with the work!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Seeing the bigger vision@jdailey A lot of the negative reaction is coming from people who are worried about the proposition of Gutenberg shortly making it into the core of WP5 when it is clearly still in its early stages of development (if its not and this is close to a final product then its even more worrying!). The community will find it much easier to the see the big vision without this crazy deadline.

In reply to: [Multisite Post Duplicator] Duplicate content.@johanlinnarsson I am also experiencing this intermittent problem. Did you track down the cause johan?
The slider is responsive, just not in the way you want. It’s a perfectly reasonable decision to hide non critical content from mobile, especially in this case where it might obscure the entire image. 1 star review is ridiculous just because you have to do a little work to adapt it to your exact use.

Seems like a useful thing to be able to do, maybe could be added as an option in a future release?
