    Hi

The image alt and title attributes on the product page seem to have an index number added to the end (2, 3, 4, etc.)
    Examples:
    https://prnt.sc/sJ1u0zupfzZ_
    https://prnt.sc/5NIScgRT0Kxk
    https://prnt.sc/OKuN5FuJwx0V
This is exactly the behaviour of Woo Image SEO’s “Add image number” options https://prnt.sc/rr40jdnxmNCN
The explanation for this option can be seen by clicking on the question mark icon https://prnt.sc/mBZwDEyJqK19

Additionally, all image attributes follow the exact same format, apart from the last number.
So this is why I think that Woo Image SEO is working correctly and applying the image attributes to the product in question.

If you’d like to receive more personalized support, please contact me from the Woo Image SEO plugin’s contact form, found on the settings page https://prnt.sc/EnhSv03kGYvG

    Hi!

I just ran a PageSpeed Insights test on the product page you shared and it looks like the alt attributes are there: https://prnt.sc/wIqJHzigXtWh
Also inspecting the page’s HTML shows the alt attribute: https://prnt.sc/O-ahF2yXXA9Z

Maybe during your tests, Google picked up an older cached version of the page.
    I hope this helps.

    Hello,
Thanks for the comments and screenshots.

I’m glad to learn that you enjoy Woo Image SEO.
Your questions and suggestions make perfect sense.

    1. RankMath compatibility
While there are no known issues with this plugin, I have to test it out to be sure.
If I find something, you can expect a fix as a free update to Woo Image SEO soon.

    2. Product description images
Automatically setting alt and title attributes to the images inside the product’s description is a great idea.
It might end up as a premium feature for the upcoming Woo Image SEO Pro plugin.

It will take me some time to explore these two items, but they are definitely on my list.
I recommend always updating Woo Image SEO to get the latest fixes and features as soon as they are ready.

    Regards,
    Danail

    Thanks for the info.

I checked your Shop page and can confirm that the image attributes include an <a> tag.
This issue is unique to your website and might require some additional troubleshooting.
I suggest checking if your theme and plugins apply any filters to the get_the_title() function.
Woo Image SEO calls this function to fetch each product’s title and insert it into the <img> elements.

If you wish to receive further assistance, please use the contact form found on the plugin’s settings page, inside your WordPress dashboard.
The www.ads-software.com support forums are not suitable for sharing sensitive data, so our options here are limited.

    Hi

It’s good to hear that you enjoy Woo Image SEO.

There is a premium version in development that allows more customization.

Once that becomes available, you should see more info on the settings page.

Stay tuned for updates and good luck with the sales!

Thanks for the info and screenshot.

The Woo Image SEO plugin modifies image attributes by hooking into “wp_get_attachment_image_attributes”.
This is commonly used by popular themes and allows us to filter the <img> tag’s HTML before rendering it.
Unfortunately, the Blocksy theme has some non-standard way of building the product gallery that doesn’t take into account the “title” attribute generated by Woo Image SEO.
An example of this is the “blocksy_media” function found here:
    https://themes.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/blocksy/2.0.26/inc/components/media/full.php

You could try contacting the Blocksy authors about this.

    Good luck with the sales!

Hello and thanks for the feedback.

I checked the link you shared, specifically for the “Shan Dopiaza/Stew Curry Masala Spice Mix” product.
As you reported, the alt and title attributes get trimmed with three dots at the end.
This is likely unique to your website, as the same product name works correctly on my website: long-product-name.png (2610×1404) (woo-image-seo.com)

I suggest looking at the active theme and plugins to find out why the image attributes are trimmed.
This is probably unintentional and meant for other types of texts like post content, excerpts, etc.

If you wish to receive more personal support, please use the contact form found on the Woo Image SEO Settings page.

    Good luck with the sales!

    Hi,

There are likely 4 images related to the product being printed in the HTML.
These could be thumbnails or zoom-in versions that appear when hovering over the image.
In other words, each of the 2 images added to your product might appear more than once on the page.

In terms of SEO, I believe that this won’t have a negative impact.
Still, we can explore the issue further if you wish.
To receive more personalized support, please try using the contact form found on the plugin’s settings screen.

    Happy Holidays!

    Hello Salvador,

    Thanks for the feedback!

I wasn’t able to observe the issue on my end and it doesn’t seem to be related to PHP 8.1

Have you tried resetting the plugin’s settings?
    Screenshot of the button:

In case this doesn’t help, feel free to reach out from the plugin’s contact form.
I can offer more personalized support there.

    Hi

    Thanks for the review!

    Your screenshots were very helpful.
As seen in the first one, hovering over a product’s image shows its title attribute.
In order to add the First Tag to the end, you could try modifying the last dropdown of the Attribute builder.
Right now it is set to <Empty>:

The ALT and TITLE attributes have separate Attribute Builder settings

    Hope this helps.
Feel free to reach out using the plugin’s contact form for more personalized support.

    Hi Jack,

    Thanks for reaching out.
The proper way of adding the woo-image-seo-skip class differs depending on the active theme, plugins, etc.
In your case, it sounds like the special photo in question is being added to all galleries programmatically.
If that’s true, then the skip class could probably be added by editing the custom code responsible for the special image.

As for addressing the other mentioned issue, this is again somehow unique for every website.
I’m usually testing the Woo Image SEO plugin on a website with the Divi builder.
On that setup, the alt tags seem to be added to all thumbnails and variation images.

In order to give more personalized support, please try using the contact form on the plugin’s settings page.
My options in this forum are very limited as everything we share is public and ultimately I can’t ask for any specifics on your issue.

    Thanks,
    Danail

    Hello
Please stay tuned for the upcoming update on September 3rd.
It will add HPOS support and compatibility improvements.
New features would probably be part of a paid version of the plugin scheduled for October.
Good luck with the sales everyone!

The Woo Image SEO plugin will receive full HPOS support by September 3rd.
Make sure to install the new update when it is released.

    Thanks for the feedback.

The Woo Image SEO plugin hooks into “wp_get_attachment_image_attributes” to filter the alt and title attributes.
This should cover most of the themes out there.

In your case, it is possible that some code changes are required.
One of the possible solutions would be to create a child theme, copy the single product template, and modify it to ensure that the proper image attribute filters are applied.
Another thing you could try is contact the Kadence theme and wait for a future update.
Lastly, you could get access to more personalized support by using the contact form found on this plugin’s settings page.

This support forum isn’t suitable for more specific suggestions as it doesn’t allow sharing sensitive data, credentials, etc.

    Hope this info helps!
