Hi I’m having some issues with this. We have bumped the tested up to flag as well as our own version and we’re still getting a warning on our plugin page that the plugin hasn’t been tested in 3 major releases. We have tested it, it works fine.
How do I fix this?

Also, not sure if this is the right forum for this issue, sorry if it is not.

In reply to: [Embedly] Sloppy developmentThanks for your note. We extend WordPress core embeds, which adds HTML to your posts directly. There is no way to remove content from posts after the plugin is deactivated, this is the default behavior of the core embeds WordPress provides.
See our plugin FAQ and https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Embeds for more information.

In reply to: [Embedly] Posts slider possible?Hi Phil,
Thanks for the question. I’m not 100% sure, though there are some wordpress experts on stackoverflow familiar with the wordpress oembed process (this is what the plugin ties into in order to generate your embeds) that might be able to help you with this better than us.

Hope this might help!

In reply to: [Embedly] Completely uninstall?Hi lazyym,
When you generate an embed in a post with the plugin it’s creating a static HTML embed. Unfortunately this means that the only way to remove a card from an old post is to manually delete it from the post.
Hopefully this answers your question, sorry for the delay in responding.
Let us know if you have any further questions by emailing [email protected]

In reply to: [Embedly] Embedly introduces an indentHi, thanks for the ticket (sorry for the delay). You should be able to left align the cards in the advanced settings for the Embedly plugin. Does this work for you? Also, note that the changes will only affect newly generated cards, so you may have to delete the center aligned card and reinsert after updating your card settings.
Best,
Chris

Hi Rebecca,
The advanced plugin settings only affect new embeds, so in order to resolve this can you try to please update the settings and then try re-embedding the media?
Let me know if this works!

In reply to: [Embedly] After Deactivation, Embedly Still Embedding!Hello,
The Embedly plugin uses WordPress’ built in embed system. The best way of thinking about this system is that it works exactly as if you had copied and pasted an embed code from a website into your post. If you want to remove this embed, you’d have to manually delete the embed code from the post.
Since Embedly has no control over your saved posts, we are unable to make changes to previous embeds for you.
Best,
Chris @ Embedly
