In reply to: Lost wordpress username, password and no email is working!I know the site exists, I know it’s up and running, that’s the problem! The wordpress.com recovery form said that the site did not exist in their database. Yet it clearly does.
I will post in the wordpress.com forum too.
Thanks for replies. Unfortunately without the email used to set it up or the password, I cannot log into this site and so cannot delete it or do anything else with it!

In reply to: Lost wordpress username, password and no email is working!I will do thanks, but I get the impression that I may be told that because it is a free blog, I should be posting on THIS forum!
I do own other websites that I use wordpress as a template for but I cannot contact wordpress unless I use them as hosts I think. And the wordpress.com recovery form said that my site doesn’t exist and directed me to www.ads-software.com.
I feel as though I’m running around in circles!

In reply to: picture on blog pageOk, when you add a new post you should have a toolbar for your text right? Just make sure it’s showing ‘visual’ and not ‘html’.
Above the toolbar should be the writing upload/insert and next to that some symbols. Click on the first square box. Now click on ‘select files’ and choose the image from your hard drive. Click on upload. You will see a thumbnail of your image come up, click on ‘show’ and you’ll see the image bigger. Here you can add a caption or align the image. Once finished click on ‘upload’ and it will be entered into your blog.

In reply to: Help! My posts are not saving or publishing!Just to let you know, the server it is on now is ServerBeach (sp?), it was moved to another server yesterday but then moved back again to ServerBeach. I don’t know what the other server was, the guy who did the work is uncontactable.
