Thank you for your reply. WordCast is meant to be used for hosting media files on your WordPress installation and serving them as a podcast. WordPress is a great system for this but of course the file sizes will undoubtedly have some demands in server capacities regarding disk space and bandwidth. There are alternatives to host these elsewhere but for now this solution is for files hosted in the WordPress media folder.
I will keep this request in mind, maybe adding possibilities for use with maybe Amazon S3 or maybe just option to insert URL.
