Thanks, but I have no idea what that thread is talking about or how to use the patch, unfortunately ??

And now that I’ve posted this, I can see that the picture which appears here is also the old one, even though if I view my profile, I see the new one.

That didn’t change anything – I found that section and changed it to 960px, then hit the “update” button with no change. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks. The issue is that all of the “how to add a favicon” stuff I’ve seen assumes that you know what they mean when they tell you to use an FTP Client to upload the .ico file into the main folder.

I don’t know how to use the FTP Client or where to find the main folder. I understand though if those questions are too complex to be answered on a support forum and would require more hands-on teaching.

In the end, someone else was able to take a look at it IRL and added

.post p.wp-caption-text {text-align:center;padding:3px;background-color:#eee;border:solid 1px #999;font-size:11px;}
.aligncenter {text-align:center;margin:0 auto;}

to the end of the Stylesheet, in case that helps anyone.
