One idea I have is to create a new category – movies. Group all movies under this category. Then set the new custom permalink as xxxxxxxx.com/category/

Which would be the same for the existing url’s – xxxxxxx.com/movies/
and no redirect is required.

Anyone see a problem with this?

Yes I got a reply – “Currently, we do not have the option to add any content on either side of the logo area.”

I was looking for an easy solution.

I believe this problem is recent among some users – making me wonder if an update caused this.
I am having exact same issue – for years force downloads worked for my 2Gb video files but this week they all fail to download.
I carried out tests with customers and it appears that Amazon S3 plugin or Woocommerce is probably the issue. I have switched to ‘redirect only; and 2 customers could now download successfully but they can see the link url clearly.

Going through similar… I always used force downloads but suddenly this just stopped working and files are failing to download – stopping at 25%.

My only option is ‘Redirect only’ as no one can tell me if X-Accel-Redirect/X-Sendfile will work in this case… I will revisit this topic and thanks.

That’s what I am finding. I don’t want to edit PHP but I will try to make a static home page with a single block (logo) that can serve as a landing page… it’s old school but that’s what my client wants…

I chose storefront as I wanted a theme that works well with woocommerce and its extensions… but many things irk me on this theme especially the amount of white space that needs cleaning up mostly between header and content.
It would also be nice to get rid of the breadcrumbs as my site is too small to bother with this.

Now I find positioning the logo and nav menu this way is not good in mobile view – using margins pushes everything off the mobile screen. Looks ok on the desktop except for above problem

Got it thanks… I could’nt isolate the drop down name using storepack designer.

Thanks it worked. Whats interesting is I had this code in my child theme but no I find most of the code in the child theme is not working. I installed powerpack a few days ago and I wonder if this overides the child theme. Thanks again.

I removed the cart, yes, until I find an answer. I wish to have the cart icon and the price displayed of cart items but not the drop down menu of cart items. Thanks.
