Unfortunately I just checked the blog (post) page and the posts are now too high and cutting into the nav bar.

There is a pale horizontal line showing just above the image which I need to get rid off and then lower the main menu text and I am there.

I upgraded to the Pro version yesterday so maybe I should now use the forum.

I actually lik to try to have a deeper site nav with larger site nav main menu text so I wonder if this would help. I am talking about the main menu on the top right.

That’s interesting – the image moved up about 100px, so we are on the right path. About 100px left to go….

Did not work unfortunately. I did hide the home page title using below but now have a large white space above the full width image.

I host my own videos on Amazon S3 servers. I am a filmmaker.

I can use the FV flowplayer that I licensed but I think the video compoent can be positioned better and also I want to ability to have full width video. All I can do now is have the FV player centered.

Is it possible to make the featured image not transparent when you scroll? This would allow a color background.
I prefer a fixed solid image anyway and one where the title disappears when you scroll which I have seen elsewhere.

At the moment I replaced the component with my FV flowplayer and this works fine. I did not see a place in your video component to insert a preview jpeg.

Is there a way to break out of the content width with any image or video and go full width on a static page? Then maybe I can position this where I like and butt this up against the top menu.

The problem lies with using a static landing page which Aesop does not work well with and is better for posts.

I really want the post design in the home page to overcome this but there is no template option for this.

Thanks but I will be posting hundreds of stories so at one point I need a drop down list so visitors can choose a category. What I do not want is the category to be displayed on the archive or single pages along with the number of comments. It’s very distracting and ugly.

So its just not displaying this line. Thanks

This got resolved by making a child theme which is odd but it worked.
