I used the Healt Check plugin you suggested, but it is unable to activate the yoast plugin in the troubleshoot mode.

I tried to disable all the plugins and change my theme to twenty twenty and activate Yoast, but this time I get this error, and it does not activate:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ‘(‘ in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/generated/container.php on line 3211

I have the same problem. Can somebody help??

@wjgoodman would this plugin rollback the WordPress itself as well? I didn’t upgrade any plugin or theme, just the WordPress. Did you try to rollback your theme or WP ?

I had the same problem. I don’t want to downgrade my WordPress so I had to delete the plugin. Hopefully, they solve the compatibility problem soon.
