Hello WP Media,
thanks for the response. Unfortunately I have a different opinion, a plugin that charges money should make my life easier.
Your plugin does not deliver on the one aspect it should, meansing automatically reducing image size. How does triggering this manually save me any time?
I will go with Kraken and maybe revisit this one it is usable.
Hello WP Media,
thanks for the answer.
Correct me if I am wrong but by disabling the “Auto-optimize” option newly uploaded pictures do not get optimized. This means I have to manually trigger the optimization?
This would defeat the very purpose of this plugin?
I have the same problem… I cannot upload pictures anymore once Imagify is active. That means at the moment I cannot use the plugin.
Do you have a solution for this? Posting it here might be more effective than having everyone contacting the live chat…

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Does not compress images enough for google pagespeedGood to know… but then I still give it one star as apparently the setup of the tool is very complicated.
I switched to Kraken IO and that actually worked. The same images EWWW told me cannot be compressed anymore could for some (setup?) reason be squeezed by another couple of Kb. And suddenly I got no more “optimize images” messages.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] autoptimize does not work with W3TC and Amazon CDNHello Frank,
many thanks for your quick response. Please find my answers below:
1. I am using both W3TC and AO. In AO only JS is minified (“Optimize JavaScript Code?” is enabled, CSS not).
2. I am using Amazon Cloudfront through W3TC. In AO I have set my CDN root address (https://dktw6ve3esqhz.cloudfront.net) in the “CDN Base URL” field.
3. I have tested with this option both checked and unchecked. No change. It is currently disabled.
4. please find below the different results from google. As soon as the CDN is deactivated I am not seeing any improvement with autoptimize anymore.
Those are the pagespeed messaged with CDN disabled (score 83):

Minifying https://www.styled247.com/ could save 1.2KiB (8% reduction) after compression.I have enabled the CDN in W3TC and now I am getting the following messages (score 70):

Minifying https://www.styled247.com/ could save 1.2KiB (9% reduction) after compression.Once I saw the results I have also tested to deactivate the plugin altogether and got no change. The 4 scenarios and the score are as follows:
CDN activated and autoptimize activated: mobile pagespeed 70
CDN activated and autoptimize deactivated mobile pagespeed 70
CDN deactivated and autoptimize activated: mobile pagespeed 83
CDN deactivated and autoptimize deactivated mobile pagespeed 83I guess as this moment the cuplrit is more the W3TC and not autoptimize.
Many thanks for your support. I will set this to resolved from my side.
