I don’t follow quite what you mean but it sounds like you’re requesting some custom functionality or styling. That’s outside the scope of support for this plugin, but of course anything is possible with a little custom coding and CSS. I’d recommend you seek a developer to help you implement this.

Appears to be a conflict with Font Awesome versions – something else on your site running a different version Font Awesome.

There’s not a function in the WP Knowledgebase plugin to count article views, but because the plugin is built on a custom post type, any view count plugin will work. Example: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-post-views-count/

I’ll mark this resolved. Please run a search on Google or the PLugin Repo to find a suitable solution for this via a plugin.

Thanks for the ping David. It’s definitely due for an update! I’m sure it still works but would be greatly improved with an update to the latest Woo templates. If you’ve been using it it’s perfectly safe to keep it enabled. I’ll schedule time to look at it and get that update done as soon as possible.

Firstly this plugin does not have a like/dislike counter so that must be coming from somewhere else on your site.

Next, as you’ve said yourself the plugin works perfectly in one site. On the site where it’s not working it’s likely there is something conflicting with it. I recommend you switch to the default theme and deactivate all other plugins. Does it work now? Likely yes. So then switch things back on one by one, testing in between. At the point it breaks, you have found the culprit.

Sometimes your host has security measures that prevent those files being copied to your theme. The solution is simply to do it manually ?? Add a page called ‘Knowledgebase’, make sure the slug matches the slug set in the KB settings. Copy the template files to your theme per the installation instructions, and voila!

Sounds like something on your site is conflicting. Please try an isolation test – deactivate all plugins, enable the default twentynineteen theme, enable just the sticky side buttons plugin… Does it work now? If yes, it confirms a conflict…. You then reactivate things one by one, testing in between. When it breaks you have found the culprit.

It’s a very stable plugin and has not required an update recently. But don’t worry, it’s actively maintained and supported as needed.

What do you mean by “phone button doesn’t work”? Happy to help, but need more information. What behaviour are you expecting? What did you try? Link to the affected site?
